People are streaming themselves using this combo to instantly remove the heat debuff and fire endless streams of HMWA-X sniper rounds with 500% multipliers, AOE damage AND a 225% damage multiplier from assassination, so if you come into battle using Garrus and Ashley and infiltrator Shepard you can spam your sniper rifles 'til they overheat and fire out three rounds that deal 112500 damage each using a single command and then use Adrenaline boost ON ALL THREE OF THEM AND RESET YOUR POWER COOLDOWNS. Worse is these people are using the tactical pause to line their shots up.
(Andromeda removing the tactical pause exposed a lot of OG players for being terrible at the game iibh and they blamed BioWare for that.)
You become invincible even on the most difficult settings with a setup like this. They're flying small enemies off the edges and knocking Juggies off their feet with one shot in the final push to take the citadel on Insanity, level scaling is irrelevant when you can bring down a Geth drop ship in a few seconds. Noveria is pointless because a single shot kills like 5 crawlers due to the AOE and send whole groups of Asari commandos up into the air while they're trying to protect benezia. The game SHOULD NOT BE THIS EASY ON INSANITY and this level of mechanic abuse needs to be reigned in faster than they nerfed my 9,999,999 credit account in ME2.
If I'm not allowed to buy up all the upgrades and weapons mods before I've even saved Mordin they shouldn't be allowed to arm up HMWA-X weapons and explosive rounds with assassinate and adrenaline boost.
The OG players need to understand that Andromeda was a more enjoyable experience because it looked better and played better, there were no magic guns like the typhoon or magic space powers like assassinate, adrenaline burst or warp, you can't load up with Garrus and let him do all the work for you, you actually had to struggle your way through the fights and use skills to jetpack and dodge and time your shots and power usage.
They should also consider adding backlash to Mass Effect 1 so we can reflect colossus rounds back the colossi instead of having to fight them with wheeled vehicles, they could add a fighter jet in the shuttle bay instead, which canonically they should have anyway. This is the kind of game that Mass Effect needs to be if it want's to be successful in the future and it starts with going back and addresses the failures of Mass Effect 1 2 and 3 and properly balancing the mechanics out to stop people playing like this.
It ends with BioWare acknowledging it's mistakes and making the trophy for completing a Mass Effect game on Insanity mean something again like it did in Andromeda it means taking out wheeled vehicles and if people want the option of driving a car let them download a dlc pack so the rest of us aren't burdened by it.
I'm done with my rant I just wish people would learn how to play the game properly instead of cheating their way through it all the time.
