Veilguard Gameplay June 11th

Did I miss something or where there no ability commands to the companions? They just did their own thing like the party members in FFXVI?

Solas sounds weird…

Also, Varric is so gonna die.

And OMG am I looking forward to this now. Combat might not be 100% my thing, however that’s true for just about all action games… I can def work with this.

Combat it's even worse than DAI.

Combat looked fine. I think they might have wanted to add another ability to show some flair. The characters visual appearance looks good, and tone is much closer - aesthetically- to Inquisition than the trailer would suggest. Big ups to letting us use multiple weapons, in addition to it looking like magic can be combined with other weapons than the staff this time

I imagine people are definitely going to have a problem with only three button inputs lol. Also, I think besides Varric and Rook, the Neve and Bianca sounded a bit stiff at times. Overall, I thought the gameplay good enough.

Looks like it’s over.

My thoughts: it looks awesome, should’ve shown this instead of the companions trailer. Combat still looks like it may be hack and slash like inquisition but it’s no deal breaker. Should be much smoother as well. Visuals look nice as well and I noticed we still have approval ratings between characters.

It seems there was no companion health bars and such and as someone else pointed out it looks like we’ll be doing most of the damage while the companions are there for banter sake.

Solas never had a Welsh accent? Have we played the same game? 

I genuinely don't understand this, and I've seen multiple people say it. It just looks like Dragon Age 2 or Inquisition with updated graphics to me. What isn't Dragon Agey about it?
