Good point, we may have more advisors. Actually like the idea of "graduating" Varric from being a party member.

Varric doesn't seem to be a companion, no. He would be the 8th if he was.

The trailer says this is in-engine, so the game might look slightly different. The Morrigan narrated trailer for DAI was in-engine and, while the art style looked similar, the game was still visually different.
