The Lighthouse - No Spoiler Zone

Getting so close to finally releasing. I'm glad I know about some of the changes that drastically changed it from the game I'd hoped it'd be for the last 8 years into what it is. Allowed a grieving period for my imagination. But also feel like it's made the release anticlimactic to a certain point. I so hope to still be dazzled by something.

I really hoped I could sort out my Honor mode run of BG3 before Veilguard comes out. Alas, I freaking got tpk'd in the Netherbrain's Psyche.

I salute you guys for your will of steel. I don't have fortitude and forayed into other threads and forums. It's like a complete warzone out there. Here definitely feels like a warm Lighthouse indeed.

Hope you don`t mind if i join you, after seeing a minor spoiler about a character cameo being freelly talked about without spoiler tags in another thread (something i wanted to discover and be surprised while playing the game) i`m officially avoiding all the other Veilguard threads. I need a safe haven  .

Anyway can`t wait to play this game. Do you guys already planned your Rook or it`s something you will decide while playing with the Character Creator?

Edited to answer: I plan on deciding that when I get hands on.

I have planned my Rook with a backstory I gave him and had to change my planned faction when the first in-game descriptions of them popped up (but that was not a big deal for me). I plan to play him as pragmatic/stoic, introverted and a bit stubborn, but liking it to work with people towards a common goal. He'll still be pretty diplomatic I reckon. I think most of those can be achieved, but let's see. No romance planned, I like to see who fits, even if I have an idea who might.

It's my first time having a fleshed-out character before getting to know the game, because so far I tested the waters with my first runs and then roleplayed from there

My PS5 says the game is installed but I have no tech magic to play it a day early 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm excited to see how well I like it tomorrow. Know it has a weak start actually helps, kinda like knowing to get out of the Hinterlands saved Inquisition for me.

My understanding is that I can't turn it on until noon tomorrow which is 13.5 hours from now.
