The appearance of my inquisitors was never important to me. Because I was never satisfied with them the way I was with my Amells or Couslands. Maybe it will work better with Veilguard. Hopefully the choice of hairstyles is better this time. In Inquisition, I chose between the lesser evils because you had to choose...

Thankfully, my main Dalish Inquisitor had Mythal's vallaslin when refusing Solas' offer to remove it. If it had been any of the other Evanuris, keeping it would become incredibly awkward very soon. (Like the one who opted for Ghilan'nain's, yikes.)

^ Same reason I took the vallaslin of the two Evanuris we don't know much about (June and Sylaise) yet, which will likely get awkward in the future soon as well... but so long as we don't have concrete evidence of "every Evanuris but Mythal was bonkers"...I'll be using those two  |

^ Same reason I took the vallaslin of the two Evanuris we don't know much about (June and Sylaise), which will likely get awkward in the future soon as well... but so long as we don't have concrete evidence of "every Evanuris but Mythal was bonkers"...I'll be using those two Its more then likely that Solas probably did what he did out of rage. While I have no doubt that the Evanuris A. all participated in the murder and B. aren't all corrupt in their own way...it also wouldn't surprise me to find out some of them were just going along and were being effectively black mailed/ intimidated into helping out Elgarn'nan and the more malicious actors do their thing. At least that is what I am hoping because its probably going to be too late now for various reason but it will add a tragic note to the whole thing. And some more nuance and gray areas to both SOlas and the Evanuris. Or alternatively I suppose the angle we could see is how the Evanuris got so corrupt in the first place.

I mean...if we take another franchise, if we look at the Daedra from Elder Scrolls, while most are considered evil, at least a few of them are considered decent (like Azura)

Apt comparison. Though I do believe they were all evil but the whys and the hows that happened could provide a lot of tragedy to them, imo.
