So about Bianca?

I doubt the devs of present-day BioWare even know what (or who) Bianca is.

Just slap some blood magic on it.

Agreed though I disagree with th las tpoin tas Varric's not the kind of person to bad mouth anyone .He' sgenerally a friendl yperson. The first 4 seem pretty feasible though. I wil ladmi tthough I am hopin gVarri cdoesn' t die.I' mkind of hopin gh egets a chance to return to Kirkwall.

My thought is that Bianca's death may be symbolic of him finally letting go of the person Bianca and thus becoming romanceable. Either that or he dies. So I'm really hoping for the former, especially since they went to all the effort of making him into a silver fox.

Yes, I would imagine the reason he survived the encounter with Solas is that Mary was fighting his corner for him. It is reassuring that she would have been there to write his character for this game, so I have no doubt it will be done justice wherever it leads.

It is amusing to think that she couldn't have been writing two more opposite characters than Varric and Lucanis. Varric is easy going, comfortable in social situations and gets along with just about everybody. Lucanis is a socially awkward, intensely focused assassin. I wonder if she specifically asked for him?

Yeah, there's no way they framed the destruction of Bianca as the tragedy it was without SOME inkling of her importance and backstory, and the kind of impact it would have on Varric.

I hope Varric compensates the Inquisitor of any runes or add ons he had on Bianca.

My Inquisitor will be writing a list along with the prices. Telling Varric to pay him back plus interest.  

With Bianca out the way, Varric will lose his will to make anymore jokes. He is devastated. He head's back to Kirkwall to get sh*tfaced. Once he get's over his hangover, he plots revenge against the knife eared chuckles clown. He pull's a Rambo. He ties a bandana around the top of his head. Add's camouflage paint to his face. Get's some camo armor. He pay's a warrior to train him. After months of intense training, Varric is prepared to hunt his prey. He follows the main character from a distance to get an idea where the chuckles clown might be. At the end, he see's his chance, but the main character and Inq prevent him from going any further. Varric isn't falling for their nonsense. He pushes a button igniting the rage talent. He fights the two interlopers. Now he face's the chuckles clown that caused him so much pain. Chuckles realizing what he has done, stand's down. He know's he can't win. Varric is more powerful then the evanuris. He look's at Varric. He smiles. Then in an instance slices his neck open killing himself. Varric turns red. After a moment, he yells at the top of his lungs knowing his moment of revenge has been taken away. He walks past everyone headed back to Kirkwall to get sh*tfaced again. So end's the story of the storyteller.

Eh, Bianca's novelty had worn off near the end of DA2.

Varric should let it go and respec to double daggers or something. Don't let yourself be defined by your favourite tool.

But he liked to fondle his favourite tool. Sorry, I couldn't resist that.
