Fen'Harel is the one who Since I think his position on the left hand of Mythal may be significant symbolically to indicate he was her spy master, it is possible he could have failed to warn her of impending danger either accidentally or deliberately. Felassan allegedly saw many parallels in the life of Briala with that of Solas. That being the case, Briala had figured out Celene had walked into a trap before Gaspard actually sprang it, yet didn't seek to warn her because she was feeling betrayed at the time. May be something similar happened with Solas and Mythal. We have been promised more murals by Solas by the Game Informer article which apparently are like a journey back through time, so perhaps we shall finally see what actually happened. |

I feel dumb saying these things aloud, but...this is something I've always had thoughts about since we got the Urn of Sacred Ashes back in Origins, and wound up at Haven in Inquisition. I'm probably reading too much into it, or giving too much credit for them being this clever, but I can't help but think these theories.

Maybe....and I just mean maybe that someone was Andraste? Haven't people been speculating that Mythal is Andraste? I would love that. And then it's not too far fetched that Mythal betrayed Solas in some way. I mean, revolutions often suffer from people disagreeing about where they want to take it. Wouldn't be surprised if Mythal and Solas didn't have the same goal 100%. Could also be that Solas just thought she betrayed him and it was a misunderstanding and then she was killed before learning the truth. ...then again they had a tender moment before he absorbed her essence at the end. So that doesn't fit exactly with tension between them. I dunno. I hope this whole drama gets resolved in a satisfying way in DAV. |

Even as a fan of Solas, I appreciate reading other points of view on that thread, especially if they're constructive. But sure, I can imagine posts like "can't wait to stab the egg!!" probably wouldn't go down well. I do wonder if having two threads will dilute the discussion on him though.
