Act 3 Ending - The Final Choice (Heavy Spoilers)

Tricking him was very satisfying!!! Deceiving him with a knock off lyrium dagger was great, especially with the satisfaction that you've outplayed him.

His pride takes a dent and then you see him being sucked away into oblivious.

Loved that ending and decided to take it even though I had the Mythal statue

I was angry that Bioware limited my choices so much so settled on playing a Rook that would be as shitty to him as possible. Was then frustrated with having to actually seek him out, thought he'd be forcing himself in Rook's head and I'd get to hang up the phone, instead it was hard written that I'd actually ask him for help. So aggravating. Got his "respect" whatever that even means in a game where he's hardwritten to call you an idiot lamb he prepped for slaughter. I hadn't known doing all the Mythal crap would get me access to the redeem ending, so it was an option I could choose. Blind, I still chose to trick him. I reloaded to see the other two options. Tricking him is the only ending I'll accept as both true to me and true to Solas being a horse's ass who doesn't deserve redemption. I loved that line, "I'm a fool." Finally. It took two whole games to get you to say that. Now go away forever, thanks.

That said, I also kinda like the ending where Rook dies because of what they say mockingly at Solas regarding leadership qualities. yum.

I actually thought I was going to trick him...but then I had the essence of Mythal and thought, fuck it. Let's see how this plays out.

I also had the option to redeem him but ended up tricking him. It just felt more fitting.

I redeemed on my first playthrough. If I do a second one though, his egg-ass is absolutely fucked.

Redeem Solas? people of thedas, what of your dead mother, sisters, brothers, families that murdered because of his action? Are they not deserve the same chance of redemption? A chance that has been robbed from them by a Deranged God!

These gods are false, petty, and unworthy of our love.

Vote for TRICK or FIGHT solas, and push Sollavelan (BALDSPAWN) back to the Deep Roads (Cave)!!!!!!!

I picked the redemptive option because I RPed my Inquisitor as Thedas' most forgiving woman (I mean, she romanced Blackwall, I had to commit) and figured that was the option that made the most sense for finishing that whole storyline.

I do want to see the tricking him ending though because I think that will be extremely satisfying.

I had all options at the end.
And I stabbed him. After what he did to Varric, I would have turned him into red paste if the game let me.

How do you get the 4th one? Trapped with him. I prefer trick for most playthroughs unless you got a hot mess Lavellan ready to do some redemption.
