Act 3 Ending - The Final Choice (Heavy Spoilers)

Pretty much, yeah.

As much as I wanted to kill the bastard for Varric (and Rook, no matter how you act, seems to want to kill or at least slap him around a bit! It's probably the angriest Rook gets in the game) I went the redeem option.

But Varric (real Varric, not Rook's vision of him) wouldn't want me to fight/kill Solas, same as my Inquisitor, who wasn't totally close friends with him but got on with him enough (she romanced Sera and her closest Inquisition pals in the companions were Bull, Dorian and Cassandra).

Plus my Rook, as pissed off about it as he was, was played by me as a good guy. He'd take the peaceful option that fixed the Veil if possible, and he did.

RP won over but my Human Grey Warden Warrior I've prepped for the next PT? She'll fight him. After all this PT will import my Qunari mage Inquisitor who DID NOT like him and she punched him twice (main game and Trespasser) haha.
