I own a Playstation and I have a pc too but im not sure if I can run it on pc or not When I roasted my 5870, I was stuck with intels HD4something ( Core i5 4590 here ). I could somewhat play it at 720p with everything as low as possible. Mind you, I´m a stubborn one and had to install CBBE and a select few Texmods aswell. But the legendary edition should run just fine.

The Skyrim remaster might actually motivate me to get an xbox one. I still play that fuckin game even though I've done everything and leveled up so much that I'm too powerful to stop Seriously though the thought of remaking my characters and playing them again on a smoother engine and better graphics is enough for me. Plus, some of those mods might be pretty nice to have. I'd like to get something to take screen shots on console so I can have nice pictures and share images with people. The soundtrack is fantastic but I was only able to find it on iTunes. I hate buying stuff off iTunes. But hey, I needed that damn soundtrack badly. Dawnguard is awesome General. You need to get it.

Since DragonRacer brought up bites earlier (werewolf bites), my ESO character in the Ebonheart Pact can provide the vampire bite to anyone interested in choosing vampirism (I'm on the PS4, and as DragonRacer mentioned on page three passing on lycanthropy or vampirism seems to be locked by alliance).
A really nice person (a mysterious Khajiit) helped out me out (and vanished into the ether), and I think it's good to pass it on and help out other players.

I'll admit when it comes to games I can be shallow as well. The horrible bloated faces in oblivion were one of the things I hated most. That stye may have worked for the adoring fan but not much else and while I felt Skyrim was an improvement it went in the complete opposite direction and made them look too pointy for my taste. I'm not complaining though and understand an alien look without appearing too frightening can be a hard balance to strike. If you use mods I feel like ethereal elven overhaul keeps a distinct appearance without having them look like goblins. The same Author also made a similar mod for oblivion so you might like them with that......I get the sneaking suspicion that eso took inspiration from her designs lol. link link
Not a problem, I always do the exact opposite of what's expected for the races I play. Most of my Altmer are Renegades with hearts of gold that hate the Thalmor and all my nords are evil wack job dark brotherhood supporters that ignore Talos completely.
Like you I won't touch it without SkyUI and I'm also going to have to add Frostfall to that list; that was a mod that I didn't even know I wanted and now I can't play without.
Good god am I having trouble with the multi quotes >.<

I did try Nuska's OCO but couldn't get the look I wanted for my Breton, so I ended up uninstalling it. I may try EEO. I do agree with Skyrim's Altmer bring a bit too pointy

As for Skyrim Remastered, I can confirm that SKSE will definitely NOT work right away. In fact, it will need to be completely rebuilt from scratch for the new Skyrim, since it will use a different (kind of) engine. According to the authors, that will take from a few weeks to a few months. In that period of time, no mods relying on SKSE will work. After that, mod authors will still likely need to update their mods to work with the new SKSE, and that will take a greatly varying amount of time. It might take some days for some mods, but for some others it will probably take a huuuuge amount of time, to the point that it is not sure that they will ever be updated for the new Skyrim. Unfortunately, among these there is The One Mod for Skyrim, aka SkyUI. So, as information is right now, it would seem that Skyrim Remastered will not be superior to a heavily modded Skyrim for at least a fairly long time. It might reach its full potential eventually, but it might not as well. For example, playing without SkyUI is NOT an option, at least for me. That is my impressions as well. I have 700+ mods myself so I doubt the Remaster will work properly with them until skse, dyndolod, fnis, etc... are compatible with it. The biggest dealbreaker for me would be if the Remaster was not compatible with ENBs. Playing without ENB which is miles ahead from the remaster in terms of quality is not an option for myself.

Quoting and answering you both. Personally, I could play without an ENB if there was something to be gained by that, *and* if I didn't need to suffer the shitty shadows because of that. However, what I wouldn't be able to play without is: Frostfall. Most definitely. #1 mod ever made for Skyrim, for me. And there are many other wonderful mods, like Wet and Cold, No Snow under the Roof, Deadly Dragons, and so many others. Sadly though, even though SkyUI by itself would be among the first mods in order of relevance, its real importance lies in the MCM menu. And the fact that so many of the most important mods make heavy use of that makes it pretty much take the #0 spot in the ranking. No SkyUI is a very hard thing to take. No MCM is right down a deal breaker. Oh god the music its so beautiful... its so... urgh I cant even describe it... that music is one day gonna make me have some kind of crisis I swear im actually having a massive fangirl moment over a piece of video game music what is wrong with me haha Nothing, girl

I loved being a werewolf in Skyrim. Every time someone brings up ESO I consider maybe giving it a try, but really prefer the single player experience and I'm not sure how far I would be able to get on my own. I don't know much about it.

Every time someone brings up ESO I consider maybe giving it a try, but really prefer the single player experience and I'm not sure how far I would be able to get on my own. I don't know much about it. I've played ESO on the PS4, and speaking strictly for the Ebonheart Pact (the alliance of Dunmer, Argonians and Nords) I was able to play through the main storyline and the side-quests on my own without having to rely on anyone (certain areas, like dungeons or special areas, are intended for groups, but they're also optional areas). The areas are scaled, but doing the quests is a way to level up your XP, and the beginning addresses why you don't technically die like mortals do, so even if you end up making a mistake or getting caught in a bad place you won't lose your character. There are also some pretty nice people who are willing to help out from time to time if they see you in a bad place (which is a common experience with ESO - some really nice people). PS4 requires PlayStation Plus to play, but I know it's different for X-Box and PC. Maybe some of the others can share their own experiences (and info about the other platforms). If you have any specific questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

No MCM is right down a deal breaker. For me it is more about the ENBs color palette and other effects than just shadows. ENBs can set the atmosphere/setting of Skyrim in ways no other mods technically are unable to do. You can transform Skyrim into a bright/colorful environment, a dark grim environment, etc... I use Grim and Somber Jyggalag. I absolutely agree that no SKYUI would be another dealbreaker as well. I have numerous mods that utilize the MCM menu. No options to customize the settings of these mods would be a pain in the ass.

Skyrim, loved playing as a Nord. Generally in RPGs I play as an elf if they have that class, but I hate the elves in the Elder Scrolls world. They're far too uppity for my tastes plus in the game, they're butt ugly. When major plus of Skyrim was the Dwemer areas. I love dwarven cities and architecture in games for the most part.

Not too fond of the fact that the remaster will cost sixty freaking dollars. As long as it includes all of the DLC though I suppose I'll bite later this year.
While I'm thinking about this perhaps I will take a break from Fallout 4 and head over to Skyrim for a bit.
