Looks cool, and whatever the thing at 1:13 was, I want to fight it! But as to the rest... kinda meh. Too many fast edits to make out anything substantial - although the "You're the new Pathfinder" line was interesting - I wonder if papa!Ryder was the original one and since he's MIA / dead after the crash, the PC replaces him? (Please don't let the crash be the Sibling Fridging Moment of Angst - I want both Ryders to be in my game, damn it!) And also: Salarians confirmed! Yay!  |

I like Khet design, badass enough. Except that silly bone nimbus. Who the hell came up with this? Did BroRyder got different? He looks a bit better now. And we have some bald woman and a man with terrible accent (had to turn on subtitles to understand what he's saying) as humans squadies. Heh, here go hopes of blonde fans. Salarians and asari again. Without turians again. I'm not that attached to them, but it does feel weird if they are dropped. So AI launches in 2185. 2185 "The Andromeda Initiative is scheduled to launch. Privately funded and operating independently from the Systems Alliance, the Initiative’s mandate is to make a 600-year journey to the Andromeda galaxy in hopes of establishing a new home world. This impending galactic journey represents the most ambitious undertaking of any Milky Way race to date…" *Looks at TIM suspiciously* Don't tell me it's you again, Pal. I was a little unimpressed. Maybe because I feel like we should have had more glimpses at characters? I wish they'd shown one of the new aliens front-facing and full-on too. Instead it was a whole lot of fast cuts and explosions that made it hard to make out what was going on. All flash, no substance as usual.
It also worries me that we don't have a release date yet. I thought that would be the least of what we got today.
From what I could make out, DadRyder was a Pathfinder but something happened to him. Thus Bro or SisRyder take on the title. I wonder how they explain how one twin gets it over the other. Also not digging that we're super special once again but I guess I should have expected that!

Early in the trailer, when the Ark seems to be under attack, you see a quick image of the Human AND Asari crew of the ship:  Could this be the same Asari that they have been showing (pre-black face band) or just a random Asari? Mysterious alien... I was just about to mentioned that, wonder if they are allies or another new enemy. |
