Soooo why no PC beta? Are they not the least bit concerned how it plays on PC? Unlike everything else everyone seems to be getting salty about, this actually bothers me a little. I was hoping to jump on this boat at the beginning, but nope. Guess we're second-class citizens. It's their loss. They just definitively lost a customer, personally. |

No PC Beta is something that I have recently seen with Titanfall 2 and it might become an industry standard for AAA titles that have a campaign. Devs are afraid of PC data miners. Honestly I can't blame them.

No PC beta are they serious? Wtf?! As others have said (elsewhere too) probably because of the risk of data mining. The PS4/One are effectively a closed environment compared to PC so it makes sense. Plus, if the MP beta build of the software has some non-MP code or assets in it (because it will be too difficult to remove/hide or take too long) then they won't have to worry about an enterprising PC hacker looking under the covers. I'd be annoyed if I was a PC player, but it does make sense from Bioware's point of view. |

On Origin (and Steam as well), you can add non-Origin/Steam software to your game library and name it whatever you want. I still have a web browser in my Steam library specifically for this purpose. |

Yeah, the character limit was a real annoyance. I wasn't able to PR-speak my way through it with only 200 characters per text box  If I don't get selected, I'm absolutely blaming the character limit. |

Somebody said something somewhere about some problems with some controls for PC. Basically, the only functional version of the game is for PS4 and XBox is almost done but not yet. Apparently, PC needs mouse/kb support part rewritten from scratch. So, lack of PC beta may be due to the fact that there is no functional beta as controls don't work normally. However, it is a pure baseless speculation and falsehood spreading gossip due to lack of official information.
