Those accounts were technically Origin accounts as well. 1) No, no selections have been made yet. They haven't even announced when the tech test will be taking place, so selecting people now wouldn't make too much sense. 2) I mean, they could, but they could also disqualify people who have what they consider to be silly gamertags. I very highly doubt they'll take any of that into account, and it'll probably be a lottery system (assuming they're even disqualifying people, for all we know it could just be that they accept everyone who signs up). |

I wonder what the control system will be like. I got a Razer Orbweaver so I could re-map the unmappable. Actually I should say, as close to MY ME3 control layout as I can. Which does bring slight hiccups when I come back to ME3 after months of Warframe. When I instinctively Bullet-jump and slide down a ramp................................ or rather, stick to a wall and use 4 OPs packs instead |

According to this interview with Michael Gamble, they're in the "final stretch of deciding which dates to use" for the beta. If you have a PS4/Xbone, are interested in participating, and have not registered yet, take the five minutes to do it here. I would expect an announcement sometime in mid-to-late January, but there is a non-zero chance of it coming sooner, so it's better to sign up now than scramble and try to get in at the last minute. |

Any information on if the beacon testers be able to share publicly their screenshots and gameplay videos throughout the internet during the test? I was trying to sign up for beta recently, went through the long process of Q&A (like it was some kinda job interview) and as soon as i get done it says that only console players allowed. and i dont own any console...oh well, GG by me |

My personal opinion is that if they're testing for balance and unexpected behaviors, you get as many people as possible in so you can maximize the amount of data collected. Besides, none of the metrics they ask for on the Beacon are in any way indicative of the applicant's abilities, but that isn't a surprise. |
