Dragon age does have some creepy moments/things... what are your favorites from the series??? What creeped me out the most was in DAO with the Broodmother and that lady constantly reciting the poem... and what Broodmothers are... and how theyre made Bonus points for DA2 for spider jump scares which made me nearly die all the time (in reality not in the game) OH also I havent finished DAI yet so if you could put spoilers from DAI in spoiler tags that would be nice general things like "Pride demons" (Oh my god theyre scary) and "Giant Spiders" (also scary) and corpses (scary) are fine but when it comes to story and stuff spoilers would be nice In DAI the Fallow Mire is just ridiculously creepy also havent been to the Emerald Graves yet but that doesnt sound so good either

oh the giant spider jumping at you was scary the first time for sure. not many scary things in inquisition though, even the spiders are predictable. maybe when the dragon ate the warden commander

I don't know that I'd call it "scary" per se, but winding through th Deep Roads in near pitch blackness during The Descent was rather tense...

The Broodmothers in both Origins and Awakening are pretty horrific. Though extra points go to the one in Origins because of that poem Hespith says. Brr...
The orphanage you walk into in Dragon Age Origins gave me the creeps too.
Edited to add: I almost forgot that Chateau in Emerald Graves (Chateau D'Onterre). Having Cole saying 'It knows we're here' didn't help either. *shudders*

First day, they come and catch everyone.
Second day, they beat us and eat some for meat.
Third day, the men are all gnawed on again.
Fourth day, we wait and fear for our fate.
Fifth day, they return and it’s another girl’s turn.
Sixth day, her screams we hear in our dreams.
Seventh day, she grew as in her mouth they spew.
Eighth day, we hated as she is violated.
Ninth day, she grins and devours her kin.
Now she does feast, as she’s become the beast.
Now you lay and wait, for their screams will haunt you in your dreams.

Only things that made me creep me out/ jump:
DAI:
That damn arrow in Val R. I know its coming, yet I still jump.
And the other time my party and I were in the dragon area of the Hinterlands. Run by a rock and all of a sudden a dragonling shoots out of the rock like a damn face-hugger in Aliens. Scared the shit out of me. Its OK though he/she died.
Edit:
Thought of one from DAOA
Justice. Seriously dude, get some face cream. Your like that guy in the Poltergeist movie.

I got a few creepy DAI moments The giant spiders in Caer Bronach's underground gates at Crestwood. Hate it when they come down unexpectedly! Wandering around Chateaux D'Onterre in Emerald Graves. Having the lights turn on by themselves and the sound effects were creepy enough. Like what DragonKingReborn mentioned in Descent DLC, the pitch black caves you go through before encountering the sha-brytol for the first time.

The Broodmother scene in DA:O made me feel... ill. Thanks to Hespith "helpfully" telling us how they are created.
Freaking giant spider jumpscares in DA2.
Can't remember anything in DA:I which would have startled me.

Hespith's poem in the Deep Roads and that weird kid in Haven who recites that creepy saying and has a bone he plays with.

Other than the Broodmother from DAO, I would say... all of the Fallow Mire lol. I can't do "zombies" (and yeah I know I have to use the term very loosely here, but still) and it took me about six or seven play-throughs before I could actually explore the place without trying to zip through it asap. It freaked me out so much I pretty much had to play it with my eyes closed, and I could hardly go near it during my first ever game lmao much less my third or fourth game. ETA- I can hold my head up high now, though. I can explore that place top to bottom without missing a beat... only took about 250 hours of gameplay to do it

The broodmother in DAO was the worst - together with Hespiths poem, I was panicked, before I even engaged her. The Golems of Amarangk or how that DLC is called. That monster at the end was creepy (and it so not did make sense, that Orsino tunred into the same creature in DA2) Quentin and his deeds were pretty disturbing too.
Edit: I forgot DAI: when you do In Hushed Whispers - the fate of many of the characters you know: that elven mage from Redcliffe going mad, the sister getting tortured to death. Leliana tortured, Connor bunrs himself alive - there was a lot of really bad sh*t going on and it gave me a lot of motivation to stop this future from happening

I have never understood why some players are impressed by the broodmothers Hespit and her lullaby,to me those are things with whom i cannot relate at all since they are all magical fictional non existent elements,i find the CE Origin to be more creepy because i can releate with it.

Do you hear me Ser Wilhem, Ser Wilhem? I am falling Ser Wilhem, Ser Wilhem, today. I'm a maiden Ser Wilhem. Ser Wilhem? But I'm dying Ser Wilhem, Ser Wilhem. In pain.
There's something about singing and/or laughing children that really creep me out. Especially when you can't see them, lol.

The nightmare Envy pulls you into is actually fairly chilling the first time you go through it, particularly when it appears as you during the initial confrontation in an effort to rattle you. I actually got a bit of a chill when reading the creature codex for the Hurlock Alpha. Actually, all of the creature codexes for darkspawn (with the exception of the Hurlock, who didn't get a real codex for some reason) are horror stories, though in the case of the genlock, the horror comes from people and not darkspawn. Oh, and I want to highlight how truly fucking horrific the ghouls are this time around. Seriously, being a ghoul does not look like a pleasant experience. (That's a pre-battle ghoul, so they're not covered in blood because I wounded them. They're just bleeding from the appendages that have fallen off.)

I'm a big scaredy cat so I get spooked quite easily [/b] [li]Broodmother. I was really uneasy during the whole thing and to have the pieces of the puzzle slowly put back together definitely didn't help me![/li] [li]More generally, everything related to Darkspawn in each and every game. I don't know why, but they really unnerve me. I hate (but love) Aeduncan time in the Deep Roads, I hate the Darkspawn's animations in Da:O & DAII, I hate how they sound, I hate everything xD. So yeah, Darkspawn are pretty terrifying to me![/li] [li]The Circle Tower. Everything about this is just...wrong.[/li] DA II[li]Quentin, without any hesitation.[/li] [li]The Legacy DLC was pretty disturbing as well, though it's no where as creepy as Quentin![/li] DA: Inquisition[li]Chateau d'Onterre. I felt soooo creeped out. I think this is the worst of all three games. [/li] [li]I really didn't like the atmosphere in the Lost Temple of Dirthamen [/li] [/ul]

I thought the Lost Temple of Dirthamen wasn't bad, because you had veilfire to light your way while exploring. But gathering the different body parts for that ritual made me cringe a bit.

One thing that really creeped me out during Champions of the Just was hearing Josephine's dialogue in the cell. Something in the vein of '' One day without water... three without food... I wish the Inquisitor would tell me what (crime) to confess!! ''
It kinda cemented the whole '' oh fucking hell, I better not fuck this up. ''
Also I find Solas' instant petrification spell disturbing.. In general petrification in any form of media just creeps me the hell out!
