This definitely strengthens my suspicion that they engineer themselves to purpose. I was pretty certain that the giant behemoths we'd been seeing are Kett brutes. Apparently, they also have hounds?

I think these big guys are kett brutes, more or less. The kett seem to either engineer or differentiate for specific roles. That dude's role is probably pounding stuff into paste.
