A few things-
1- Will all my DLC still work? 2- How do I move my saves over? Memory stick? 3- As Xbox One is open to mods (see Skyrim SE) will we see any for ME?
I'll be trying 1 & 2 when I get in from work but 3 I know nothing about.

I'm just installing now so I'm not sure if the DLC works. I'd be very surprised if it didn't, though (assuming your DLC was bought on the same account as your Xbox One is playing on). As for save games, you can transfer your saves via the Cloud: www.tomsguide.com/us/transfer-xbox-360-saves-to-xbox-one,review-3172.html

I highly doubt mods would work.. It's just against EA policy in general (not old Bioware though). Plus, ME3 needs to do serious workaround to make them even work..messing with the root folder, indexing "TOC" files.

Mods no.
DLC yes. If you go to the "Manage Game" screen, you should see the list of DLCs under "Ready to Install". If you don't, go to "See in Store" and they should be there. So long as you're using the gamertag that you bought them on the 360 with on the X-Box One, they will be available to download again for free.

I only have one of the discs for ME3, so I know I can install the whole game, but I assume I could only play half since I am assuming you would still need to switch discs when it prompts you?
For you mods statement that is a decision Bethesda made for Fallout 4, Skyrim and probably future games. I would assume for mods on any Bioware game, EA would have to approve it (not 100% sure). I think the mods are only on the remaster version of Skyrim, so even if they could I doubt they would do ME mods, unless they remastered the trilogy.

I was going to follow a guide that was really well done on the best way to accomplish said goal, however... it was on the New/Old/BSN that, you know, no longer exists.
Does anyone have any advice/tips/tricks as to how I would go about bringing about the most death and destruction to my poor squad members, and the galaxy at large?

I have never done this, but I found two guides that might be what you are looking for, not 100% sure though.

If you get EA Access (which is $4.99/month or $29.99/year), you get free access to a bunch of EA games (mostly sports games, a couple shooters, stuff like that), discounts on upcoming EA releases, and digital download copies of the Mass Effect trilogy with DLCs. If you cancel the Access program, you do lose the ability to play the games, however, but if you only have one disc... it's worth looking into. I bought Access a couple months ago, and - as I do like a bunch of sports games, and am definitely cool getting a discount on buying games in the future - and it's the best $30 I've spent on my X-Bone.

I only kept the one disc became years ago that other one was left in a 360 that was sent out to be fixed. Tried to trade in the game to gamestop but they would not take it with one disc. Just kept it since to have, but might consider that option if I wanted to play ME3 again and it was cheaper to get EA Access then re-buy ME3 with both discs.

I don't know for sure but given that it downloads the game and installs it on the Xbox One hard drive I suspect that you won't need to swap discs at all. It would only need the disc to verify that you should be allowed access to the game.

I only needed Disk 1 to install each game.
I appear to have 'lost' my additional multiplayer characters, not sure what's happened there...

I heard that you are unable to import an ME1 save into an ME2 save using only the backwards compatible versions, has anyone done this yet?
This would be highly annoying for me as I am no longer in the same country as my 360 so I am unable to transfer saves that way

ME3 DLC is no problem as long as you had/have it and reinstall it, but ME2 I'm having problems with "Normandy Crash site, Firewalker, Zaeed" etcetera.

will we be able to digitally buy ME2 and ME3 (and all their DLCs) without the need for either EA Access or having the disc based versions of the games?

As of this point, the two games are not available to buy digitally and I would assume they will not be as it is a selling point for EA Access where they would get more money over time that just releasing the games digitally.

Thanks. Really hoping they will become available as a separate digital buy as well.
The tweet by Major Nelson certainly gives me hope it's possible, as he differentiates between Backcompat and EA access /photo/1
Might have to go old school disc based for the Trillogy then.

I just can't bring myself to letting my beloved squadmates perish.... I have a weak will for the creation of failure in my heroes journey

My original Xbox One flamed out last week, lucky my black friday replacement One S had a free EA Access trial, so I decided to start playing ME2 and ME3 as those can't be bought digitally yet on Xbox One, it's either DISC (which I don't have, since I switched over from PS3) or EA Access. I bought all Story DLCs for ME2 (my favorite game) and ME3 (the later, which I never played any of them before). couple of things: Just got to the new Normandy introduction, so far it seems the loading screens/animation pass much faster. Maybe it's switching film grain off, but the image seems a bit clearer than I remember from PS3. Also noticed a new dialogue question and line from Miranda (which I'm pretty sure isn't on the PS version at all) so far, so good

Does anyone know if it's possible to get the Kinnect to work with these games. Voice command doesn't work when I play ME3 on the Xbox One which isn't a huge deal until I get to the end. Trying to kill Marauder Shields just before beaming up to the Citadel was always one of the most frustrating sequences in the game until I found out I could still voice-activate my powers.
Fortunately I still had the 360 around so I got round it that way but I'd rather not have to keep the 360 around just so I can finish an ME3 run-through without an hour of frustration!
