Tin Foil Skirt and Thigh-High Boots - Ashley Williams Thread

On my first play of the Trilogy I went with her all the way and really liked the story. My other options would have been Liara (an alien scientist who outlives me by roughly 900 years) or Tali who is way too young. Both are great friends though.

The drama around the relationship is what makes Ashley special. I usually play Shephard as a military man, true to the Alliance with a few rough edges, but generally trying to do the right thing (Neutral Good). You cannot have her in ME1 because she tells you to wait until after the mission, you do get to know each other and I like her down to the ground character. At the end of ME1 you have that one night and then she loses you in the destruction of the Normandy!
You are out cold for two years and Ashley does not go with the next lover available, but serves in the Alliance military. "It's in my blood"

After your resurrection you meet her on Horizon and she is so happy to see you. Then the shock, you are working with Cerberus. She warns you and refuses to join. In the message you receive later from Ashley, she explains her reasons and tells you to be careful. "I cannot go where you are going..."

In ME3 she has other things to do than join you on the Normandy at first, then is injured and only very late joins the crew, if you were loyal to her through the Trilogy.

For the entire Trilogy you only have this one moment in ME1 and have to hold on to it. The moments in the hospital in ME3 are also very good.

It is like in those dramas where the person watching it wants the two to become happy together but the circumstances around them just don't allow it. It's like in "North and South" or "Gone with the Wind".

p.s. I don't like her hair in ME3. How do you fight with it and how does it go into the helmet?

Soooo... anyone here who wouldn't like to see what she looks in tin foil skirt and thigh high boots?

Well, you weren't wrong lol. That's a great drawing! (The alliance fatigues on here are just the best!) And, I should find my (still unfinished Ash art I started way back in the day) and post it. haha

Ah ah ah, you are absolutely right ... I will miss her in MEA too, but I can still come back to the trilogy and have a playtrough with Ash. Still I continue to hope (probably against any hope ) that ME 5 will come back to Milky Way .... who knows

Well, if you read my first couple posts in here... Ash is different in ME3 and I'm not as big of fan of her in ME3 as I was in ME1. I think she just suffers too much from the change in writer of her character.

But I'm glad to hear you're going to keep her alive, just this once, to at least see her content! Do let me (us) know what you think when you've finished.
