The re-examination of Dark Energy by PBS SPace-time. For the record, I would go gay for that man. In case you wanted to know.

I fucking love science. Really interesting video - not a scientist myself, so some of it was flying straight overhead, but like the basic thrust of it. Has been a while since I watched one of these guys videos. Should probably start doing that more regularly, again. Also, Dark Energy is God, right? Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Those guys sent my brain sproing when I found their videos. And many times since.
The original host was an American guy who, as amazing as it is to contemplate, was actually even better than mister dreamy would-fuck-him-pants british dude who hosts it now. A lot of the ideas fly over my head, but having gone back and watched the series from the beginning, they do an excellent job of explaining concepts in sequence so that you can follow some of the more complicated physics concepts.
Also, they're a very reliable source for whatever new breaking news is happening, as in this case, they break down that the latest study doesn't really re-write quantam physics so much as expand the outer bounds of the mathematical possibilities.

Is he british? Sounded Aussie to me...anyway.
They do a very good job of explaining mind-bogglingly complex ideas in simple language, but some stuff just doesn't break down easily. The excellent production quality helps, though - animations and what-not providing visual extensions to the hosts explanation.
Reminds of - although more focused on politics and futurism, than science - CGP Grey. Making really complicated things seem simple by being able to break them down and explain both vocally and visually.
Great stuff, and what Youtube should really be about. Not....reaction videos and stuff like that.

When trailblazing through astrophysics -- in this case cosmology -- the process of elimination should be a last resort.
Astronomy is in my top three favorite subjects. However, I am more into the observation aspect; not the theory aspect. My comfort zone would be planetology -- yes I use that term. Cosmology is sort of... Out of my comfort zone.

I'm sure its there. In another frequency of perception....it has been detected every where, all around us & throughout the planet.....I also think by us messing with this super collider that interacts with particles and protons, smashing them together at god-like speeds......that we are going to fuck around and hit the dark matter on its level of existence that triggers a cataclysmic reaction that opens up a goddamn singularity which then destroys us & our entire solar system. but, you know, it's for
