It sounds like the Gameinformer team had 3 hours with the game, and 30 minutes with multiplayer. Things to take away from this podcast: -Asari Doctors on the Human ARK -It sounds like you play Dad Ryder for the first mission -You enter the Nomad on the tempest, and get dropped down on the planet (in accordance with early testers and leaks) -no elevator wait times! -loyalty missions are optional (Mac Walters already confirmed) -interacting with Twin Ryder -a Sand planet called "Eledin" -Behemoths on most planets I thought it was a very interesting listen!  It sounds like they are excited for it.

They mention that the reason we can respec ryder is because we are a Pathfinder. I'm not sure if that is because we are from the Ryder family or if it something that is done to us.
Anyway, I think that may be the reason why we are chosen as pathfinder, even if we are "green". (So everybody that dislike the "Chosen one" type may be disappointed).

Unfortunately, I got bored early. The podcast was repeating what I already new and stopped listening.
He's bound by the NDA and can't saying anything that breaks it... might as well listen to Bio as the first source for news / info.

Occam's razor would say to me that it's just a game design.
On the other hand there is a mystery involving the Ryder family. Add the Khet's "... what makes you so special.." has really piqued my interest.

Did the reason sound that cool so they had to add it to the game? So nothing new after all. Except some exciting "Behemoths on most planets" stuff. |

Although I personally don't enjoy podcasts very much. I prefer a video, I don't care if the video is about a bunch of girls and dudes sitting around a table talking, but I want something to watch, not just audio. I don't tend to listen to podcasts never, but gonna do an exception this time.

I was pleasantly surprised with how much they emphasized ME1 in particular, what with the intro calling back to the beginning of ME1, the synth music, and the general sense of discovery. ME1 is my favorite of the trilogy, so I'm happy that it's a more prominent influence for Andromeda.
