What Will Your Primary Squad Look Like

Won't know until I meet them. I usually play the companions I like most first time, unless I'm forced to alter to balance the party, and I haven't even decided what sort of abilities I'll choose yet.

Oh, I didn't mean to say that I have some problems with them. I don't. I meant that they do less than squadmates in DA series from what I've noticed. And this is why I always bring with me peeps I like the most. On Insanity runs my DudeShep is a soldier, so he basically annihilates everyone alone with his assault rifle and adrenaline rush. My main Shep, FemShep, is a vanguard and it speaks for itself, especially in ME3.
I'm really curious how squaddies will turn out in Andromeda though.

I don't know who I will take along in the moment. I like to play Vanguard-style, but with the new skill/class system I think I'll experiment a lot how to boost this experience. I'll take along who I'll come to like through dialogues and fits into my playstyle then. Would be interesting to know if we can adjust the skills/classes of our companions as well - then I'll go with someone tanky and someone supportive/controlling.

I have a feeling that I won't like Liam (he sounds to 'righteous' right now) so I probably won't take him. I have to like a character in order to do so.. or he/she needs to have abilities that could complement the other squadmate so that I can make a badass team

So first I have to like them.
Then come the tactical advances.

I always took Garrus with me for he had both and would cycle mostly with Kaiden/Wrex/Legion.

I don't think they're pushing Peebee that much. She's just the first squadmate they revealed and focused on.

Krogans are always welcomed, even more if they resemble Wrex, though I'd like to see one a bit different. 

If there's a character I'm romancing I tend to bring them along most of the time, and try to swap out the other with whoever else I enjoy character-wise and story-wise. I'm not so bothered about combat capabilities. I like bringing along characters that mesh well with each other, or butt heads, or have a stake in the kind of mission it is etc.

It's hard to say just now, not knowing the specifics, but I'm interested in Liam and the krogan at the moment. Not so sure about PeeBee but I think I might still be burned out on asari after having Liara pushed too much to the forefront, so hopefully she'll be handled a bit differently.

Heh, if you've got a "thing" for turians, then maybe a female Turian will be more to your liking?

Waifu jokes aside, any female Turians will be just screaming "hey I'm totally not Garrus" for me. It would take a strong personality for me to differentiate the two. In ME2 Jacob & Miranda were WAY too obviously the replacement humans for Kaiden & Ashley for example, but Miranda did set herself apart from Ashley by being a... very hard to like character *cough* Morrigan *cough*.
