They forgot to bring along logic to Andromeda. They might as well go all out and include every single species that ever appeared in the original trilogy, including yahg, Reapers and protheans. Who really cares at this point? A lot of people still do, regardless of the premise. The fact that there might be something not logical in the game doesn't mean I'd want more things like that. Or did you think they could've put anything illogical in ME2 just because we had the game opening with Shepard dying and be later resurrected?Didn't they?

Or did you think they could've put anything illogical in ME2 just because we had the game opening with Shepard dying and be later resurrected?Didn't they? I didn't mean that other then the opening everything in ME2 is necessarily logical. But people can and complained about those things, they didn't say 'screw it, the game opening is illogical, they can throw whatever they want inside the game'. My point isn't even about the species in a Andromeda, it's in general about the game. Even if I might not like whatever explanation they found to go to Andromeda and the methods for going there, it doesn't mean I wouldn't criticize other things that will come up that I believe they make no sense.

There is no need to bring Geth. At the time of the departure of Arks Geth are persona non grata on the citadel. But don't be discouraged. Catalyst said that all sentient life will create Ais at some point. So there should be a some robots running around in Andromeda.

That is a shame. Geth and Quarian are my favorite races - after all, they are the only all-vegan races in the Milky way.

Personally I don't see the Geth making any appearance here, it's more likely that we'll encounter some new synthetic race. As for the Quarians, I'm still hoping that we'll see them here in some form, maybe a few made the trip on the nexus, time will tell?

No the geth will not be in AI. The geth were the enemy of humanity at the start of ME2 since the Normandy were scouting for geth in the opening scene before they got blown up by collectors. The geth had attacked human colonies in ME1. They geth were also the ones believed to have attacked the citadel in ME1.
The geth had only helped a human terrorist organisation - cereberus prior to ME3 storyline and even the illusive man didn't trust the geth.
So given all this, there is almost 0% chance of geth involved in the andromeda intiative unless the people involved in the initiative were, you know, stupid.
