Do I want Cerberus in the game, no, not at all, but as several have stated here already, it is the sort of project that they would be interested in, I mean, a chance to spread Human superiority to another galaxy, could be something TIM would jump at.
Also, slap me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it mentioned sometime last year that Cerberus motifs had been used as possible placeholders? I just can't remember (if I'm right) what they were allegedly on.
Anyhoo that's just my thoughts.

Alec Ryder is TIM's cousin... very anti-Cerberus and spent his life trying to live down the family connection to the organization. TIM wants to just get Alec out of his life, so packing him off to Andromeda is motivation enough for him to fork over the chump change it takes to fund the mission secretly. Once the mission takes off... that's the end of TIM's involvement in it as he waves good riddance to his pesky cousin and focuses on getting Shepard revived and onboard to "deal with" the Reapers. (kidding of course)

My 2 cents: Cerberus is NOTHING without TIM and TIM's arc crashed and burned in ME3 already. That's done and over with. Any more Cerberus would be self-indulgent meandering.

In-game and story-wise, it would make sense for Cerberus to be there as I assume they would have an interest in the project. But I hope Bioware has decided to leave it behind for Andromeda, as I got really sick of it by the end of ME3.

Seeing as how TIM is both one the few who know the reapers are coming and has access to massive private funding I'm quite certain that he would of helped finance the Andromeda Initiative as a backup to save hummanity in the event that his plan to defeat/control the reapers failed.
But I wouldn't expect to see any Cerberus soldiers as they'd have been being used for said plan to defeat/control the reapers. I suppose there might be one or two agents there, but we probably won't know about them, atleast not in the first game.

There was a rumor in the now-defunct BioWare forums that Cerberus was in fact involved (something about a Cerberus symbol on a Kodiak in some test footage or something - could have just been a placeholder). I remember posting that BioWare would have to be incredibly stupid to risk it - but the human-centric rhetoric surrounding MEA has me concerned.

Maybe Cerberus arc will continue to develop (you see what I did there? ). I have this theory that Cerberus helped fund human arc and maybe they sent some agents there.

Though most of his experiments failed, I don't think that failure is possible in TIM's mind, so I doubt that he would have a back-up plan. BTW: he had no plan A in the first place, trying to hinder the construction of the crucible everywhere he could and then needing exactly that crucible in the end for his goal of controlling the Reapers. Just some megalomaniac old man, not a mastermind.

Huh here I was thinking Cerberus DID infiltrate the Andromeda Initiative but their lead agent tricked the Council into thinking all of the Cerberus Operatives were assigned to the Hyperion which is why it ends up lost...
Good way to explain why the game starts where it does and provide a human nemesis whose trying to rebuild Cerberus in the Andromeda Galaxy and anonymously helping the Council to screw up that BADLY would do just that!
Doesn't need to be as central to the story as the first trilogy, just have it pan out discover who was actually responsible and sort it out so from that point on its isn't Cerberus as they're too busy trying to establish themselves to mess about with such a concept as Humanity First!

Cerberus has no involvement in and will have no involvement in the Andromeda Initiative.
Seriously people, just because they're both privately funded enterprises doesn't mean Cerberus is lurking behind every shadow. Cerberus doesn't have its hand in every human project.

As much as TIM would love to believe otherwise, Cerberus is not humanity, they are just very well funded terrorist organization with some R&D cells to further their own goals.

Ai being and entirely Cerberus project? Probably not. But if whether some Cerberus people will partake in it? I will go with maybe yes. Maybe TIM knew and decide to send a team to enlist and 'preserve' the Cerberus 'ideals' and agenda and spread it to another Galaxy .That doesn't seem very far fetched. I know BW said they won't be there, but they could still have them in but not as an important part of the story.

Because having humanity at the forefront of everything in this setting is not enough we have to (supposedly) bring over the Human supremacist terrorist organization too? So much for getting rid of the old baggage from the original trilogy if Cerberus does indeed show up again in ME:Andromeda. Of course with Mac Walters being in charge of things it wouldn't surprise me; Cerberus has been his pet project since the beginning stages of ME 2's development, and has received far more special attention than someone like Liara could ever hope to see throughout the series.

It was the same with I.T. Even faced with hard evidence some people still refused to let their dogmatic believe go away.

Surely they are involved in the initiative at some level but I couldn't see them sabotaging or doing anything that would damage it because the potential 'rewards' from an expedition like this are too massive. While they might still have their secret second reasons, I wouldn't see them as being an evil force towards the Initiative. If anything they might cause, accidentally, some problems to the Initiative by trying to go and do their own experiments and exploration outside of the Initiative's guidelines. It's Cerberus, they'll have their own agenda if they infiltrated this.

Hopefully it won't have any role in the story at all.
Cerberus wore out it's welcome in the Shepard trilogy, where it was a bit of a writer's pet.

Do I want them, no, not really. But it would make sense for at least a few humans with ties to Cerberus be mixed in. That being said, our player character would unlikely be aware of Cerberus as we've all grown to love (not). If Bio wanted to have some small and non-intrusive side story/quest where we "learn" a bit about them, it really wouldn't bother me. One idea I had a while back when I first learned about the AI was to have a side arc dealing with classism and the few Cerberus agents that came become a voice for the disenfranchised humans, then eventually lower-classed aliens as well (wouldn't that be ironic). But it doesn't work given the entire trip takes place in cryo. Not to mention Bio doesn't like to deal with complex issues that interferes with the big bad uber-powerful antagonist bent on world domination and destruction.

Glad they probably won't be in ME:A, although I can see their philosophy tagging along. I hope that won't be the case though. Not only have they worn out their welcome, as mentioned previously, their philosophy isn't the best for a mission like Andromeda.

None, nada, nothing. Enough of Cerberus, Reapers, Shepard, Normandy. Three games (and lots of DLCs) about them is more than enough, embrace yourself for something new and fresh (I hope lol).
They won't be missed (at least not by me for sure).
