Anime is a Mistake

Gundam Thunderbolt's second season has officially started.

I am somewhat looking forward to this but as a reader of the manga, I know exactly how batshit it gets later on so my expectations are...mild to say the very least.

Fucking underwater super-carriers, I mean seriously what sort of crackhead even thinks like that? You are going to stick a limited production, one of like only four Zeon One Year War production mobile suit super carriers on Earth for some reason that has never been explained and then stick it underwater. Seriously, drugs had to be involved in this thought process. Its a space ship for Christ sake, a gigantic fucking space ship.

...Why is it in a ocean on Earth? Just...why?



Ugh here we go and people wondered why I complained about Gundam Thunderbolt becoming an anime, it'd be like if fucking Crossbone got animated, its pure retardation and drug addiction at work in so far as scene presentation and storytelling. :smh:

I mean I look at it this way one of my all time faves Tomino has been around in the industry since it basically kicked off with the kiddie cartoons in the 70s and he is still occasionally active in the field as a consultant or writer to this day with his most recent actual director role occurring in 2014 for Gundam's 35th birthday.

He's 75.

He has seen the beginning of this movement we know as 'anime' and he is outliving people in the field who are much younger then him.

Not that I want that hacky melodramatic slob to go anywhere, no I think he needs to persist in the world for a few more decades >_>

Berserk continues to look really ugly

I saw a webm where they do some dramatic zoom in on a little girl and it looks unintentionally creepy.

Personally, I dropped it back in S1 afer two episodes because I didn't want to taint my memories of the manga with THAT filth.

I doubt that would ever happen.

Non Japanese stuff doesn't tend to get an anime.
