Just only the original anime or the ~2012 movies. Do not watch the recent anime continuation. Personally if you don't mind reading, i'd say skip all of it and go straight to the manga.

I mean, here's a character who's been hyped up for years and they didn't even die fighting an enemy. The entire purpose of the character ended up becoming a way to further hype up another character who was already hyped up to hell and back. Just...ugh.

I've never been an anime lover (nor a hater, either) but I got hooked on Nichijou after watching some youtube vids. Not sure if I understood/liked everything about it (why do everybody scream so much there? what's the meaning of those short clips completely unrelated to the main plot?), but I still liked its humour and I sure was heartbroken when I learned season 2 aint gonna happen.

Finally watched an anime that I loved-- and they closed it after one season. Am I jinxed or something?

I honestly wish something like that had occurred in the actual series, I think it would have been a bitter sweet conclusion to their story.
