Nexus mods require logging in and old BSN forum is obviously down.

Nexus membership is pretty harmless and it's an amazing source of great mods: I don't see why you wouldn't just sign up

Yeah, it's not like it'll cost you anything. Just sign up with an alternative email or something?

I would agree, Nexus is a great resource. I initially balked, but it is more than worth it. However, if you need something outside of Nexus, I would suggest looking up an old free version of X-Padder, as well as some of the profiles that have been generated for Mass Effect. It's not a perfect solution though, b/c the program can't map out EVERYTHING that they did when using KBM, so you may have to revert back to KBM for a few things, but it worked well enough for me. Newer versions of XPadder cost money, but are updated and easier to use, from what I hear. I also found this, if that helps... pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Mass_Effect#Controller_support

I have the Mass Effect 1 Xbox 360 Controller Mod here. I believe it gives you the Xbox 360 version of Mass Effect controls layout where it feels like you're playing the Xbox 360 version instead of the PC version. And for an alternative, I recommend using Pinnacle Game Profiler. I find it much better than X-Padder and easier to use. Pinnacle Game Profiler
