How I miss those days when men were in suits and hats, ladies' dresses were elegant and they wore hats. 😁 The little boy must have seen men with hats politely removing them as a gesture of respect towards ladies somewhere. 

A priest and a nun are caught in a blizzard. They find a shelter with a bed, a sleeping bag and a pile of blankets.  The priest, being a gentleman, offers the nun the bed and took the sleeping bag for himself. As they tucked in for the night, the nun calls out, "Father, Father, I'm cold!"  The priest gets up and puts another blanket on the nun. "Is that better, sister?" he asks. "Yes, Father, much better," she replies. He gets back into his sleeping bag and starts to nod off when she calls again," Father, I'm still cold." So once again, he gets up and puts another blanket on her, ensuring she's tucked into the bed well.  "Is that better, sister?" he asks. "Oh yes, Father, that's much better," she says. So the priest gets himself back into his sleeping bag and is just starting to dream when he wakes up to her calling, "Father, Father, I'm just so cold!" 

The priest thinks long about this and finally says, "Sister, we're in the middle of nowhere in a blizzard. No one but you, myself and the Lord will know what happens here this night. How about just for this night, we act as though we're married?" The nun thinks about this for a minute. She can't help but admit to herself she's been curious and finally answers, "Ok, Father, just for this night, we will act as if we're married." "Great," the Father replies. "Get up and get your own damned blanket."


A woman joins a convent where the nuns take a vow of silence. Every five years, each nun meets with the Mother Superior and is permitted to say two words. Five years go by, and our nun meets with the MS. “Bed hard,” she says. The MS nods slightly, and the meeting ends. Another five years slowly pass, and again the nun meets with the MS. “Food bad,” she says. The MS nods gravely and the meeting ends. Five more years creep by, and once again, the nun has an audience with the MS. “I quit!” She exclaims. “Thank God,” says the Mother Superior, “you’ve done nothing but complain since you got here!”


A nun leaves her sleeping quarters and sets off down the corrridor for breakfast. She meets another nun who says "I see you got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning sister". The nun meets another who says "I see you got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning sister". The hungry nun is now becoming frustrated at these comments when she meets the Mother Superior to whom she says "Don't tell me I got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning". The Mother Superior replied "I wasn't going to say that but was about to tell you that you are wearing the Bishop's shoes".

At a Catholic school a nun, one of the teachers, burst into the headmasters office in a state of some agitation, “Father,” she cried for he was a priest of course, “I just caught some of the boys in the bike shed gambling!”
“That is a serious infraction Sister,” said the Head, “but you do seem awfully worked up about it.”
“Well it's what they were betting on that upset me as much as anything,” she said, “They were seeing who could urinate highest up the wall!”
“My word!” said the Head, “And what did you do about it?”
“Well I did get very cross with them." said the nun "I hope you don't disapprove Father but I hit the roof!”
“How much did you win?” he asked
