Workday Cheer

So all day yesterday my ears were exploding and I felt like I was sitting at the bottom of a swimming pool under six feet of water in terms of feeling and how things sounded. Additionally, it felt like someone was stabbing my ear drums with a screwdriver (all of which are sensations I feel when I am building up to a full-blown Meniere's attack....so I was cautious but didn't give it much thought otherwise.)

Now....I also do not drink water at work through the day, never have. Yet when I come home, between 3:30 and 8:00 p.m., I can drink as many as 8 or 9 pints of water...and not have to pee through the night. But by the end of the workday yesterday, I had completely lost my voice. So all-in-all I initially passed it off as simply coming down with a cold and probably an ear infection as I have been chronically prone to bad ear infections since I was very little. But as I am walking closer to home.... something tells me
'give yourself a Rapid Antigen Test as soon as you get home. It will probably turn up Negative as it always has, so there is little to worry about. Worst thing is you can be assured that you have a cold.



SO.....I was absolutely gob-smacked when the results came back 100% POSITIVE for COVID-19! In all honesty, it's not terrible, I just feel like I have a moderate Cold. But it's the shock of the news and the realization that I actually have Covid-19 in spite of every precaution I have taken. And now I have to take more time off work...which I hate doing and feel horribly guilty about.
