I know I've had the bug where Liam thinks I've held Verand. The only other issue I know of, if you don't count lack of content, is the messed up kissing animation.

Not much I can add here that I didn't already say in the other thread, sorry.

I know criticism sucks and I apologize for coming off like a jerk, I seriously didn't expect a response.

I just don't understand the difference of quality in the LI scenes. It's frustrating looking at Cora, Peebee or Jaal and seeing how much effort and attention to detail were put in to them and then you have Liam's and he is one of the Main LI's. Most of his kissing is done at such an angle to hide the lips not touching or the eyes being open. That's the main complain that many people here have. The fact that we can't even have Liam close his eyes at the last kiss on Meridian. 

It seems that the only things that are being fixed (when it comes to LI's ) are the ones with the loudest supporters and we all know Liam isn't that popular. *takes of tinfoil hat* We haven't gotten any acknowledgment, like "We know what you're talking about. We're looking into it." That does get frustrating.

I appreciate everything you're doing and am glad the game has improved with all the work everyone has put in. I don't mean to come off like a hater, I loved the game from day 1, still do. I just wish things would be more fair and that there would be more communication between BW and their fans. 

In the light of everything that was said above, I highly doubt it. It ´ s not fair, but it ´ s the reality. And it ´ s not exactly pretty reality. Have to go get some sleep...maybe it will dull the disappointment.

Actually, imo, the romance itself is perfectly fine. I think what we are talking about are the craptastic animations for 2 of t he 3 kisses you get from him. At least that's what *I* have been complaining about.

The kiss on the couch he has his arm wrapped around your head, probably so you can't see that their kiss isn't animated at all. And the kiss at the end of the game their faces are completely emotionless and they have, as my son called it when I showed it to him, the "thousand yard stare." (The other kiss is at the end of the lovers leap and from a distance so it can't be seen anyways).

I love his romance. For me, I would just like for the kisses to not look like two dolls shoving their faces together

I did play for a bit today and some of the animations do look better.  I like how Addison is prioritized, but Liam is... not?? What? I mean, I do appreciate all the work they are putting into the patches, but that makes no sense to me.  Liam should absolutely be higher on the list than Addison....again.

On a different topic: does anyone know if they fixed the quest you get from the angaran in the cultural center? I've completed it twice but was unable to turn it in either time.  Also the "medicine" quest on Kardara?  I forget what it was called.

I believe the idea Gilsa mentioned is a good one, btw.

Maybe they'll notice if we are many with the problem , I'll be happy if they fix the ending kiss at least...

I understand why you're being skeptical, honestly, I'm not feeling too optimistic either. But at least now we know for sure that Ian is aware that Liam's fans aren't happy. They've been doing cosmetic changes since 1.05 (that's why I find the whole "there are other priorities" reasoning strange), they really don't have any excuse not to at least let Liam and Sara close their eyes while they kiss in the next patch (and work on Reyes etc), unless they decide to make Jaal more photorealistic or go all out and do mocap for him or something. I'm not hating on Jaal, I love him, but I just find it puzzling that the devs give him so much attention and neglect other LIs. He already had the most nuanced facial animations in the romance scenes, imo, all the tweaks just feel like treats to me, not some top priority stuff.

To lighten things up, I'll just say something nice abut Liam for no particular reason - to me, he's the most irreplaceable member of the crew along with Jaal but I'm trash like that don't mind me. Many people could fill Cora's or Suvi's shoes (not hating them, I love all of the crew), but Liam's "special brand fo diplomacy" is his only. Even if he's being naive sometimes, I think his ideals and earnestness are special and very needed in the team, and AI in general.

I love my Liam family! I'm so glad wanting to show my support for him got me to finally post on this forum. Liam is always bringing people together.
