Liam Kosta (Official Thread)

This makes me think of some of the awful Fallout 4 hairs for guys... 
And don't tell me Bioware wouldn't troll us like this... remember how after lots of people complained about the lack of qunari hairstyles, especially long ones, they introduced in game qunari statues with long luscious hair... (and no actual hairstyles) 
So if Liam ends up having a "comb over bald spot" type of disaster hair... I would be horrified, yes, but not necessarily surprised or shocked 

(I like these statues!)

Of all the info nuggets about Andromeda being withheld from us, the lack of information about the squad mates is probably the one driving me most vertical.

I'm glad we now know of Vetra and Drack, I'm excited to see what their dynamic could be working together.

And for goodness sakes BioWare are repeating their past mistake with Liara, and literally slapping PeeBee on everything. I could end up liking her in the game, but the fact everywhere you go is PeeBee, and we don't even know what Liam or Cora look like yet, or who the other squad mate(s) are yet is darn irksome.

It's not like Liam's hair is so important to the narrative that revealing it counts as a spoiler surely?!

I've can't help feel that Liam is only going to be available to SisRyder, rather than both, which means that for gay BroRyder's we likely won't have a romanceable squadmate, only a crewmember or NPC

Yeah, gay MShep was definitely neglected during the trilogy, and it would be a damn shame if Scott is denied Liam.  

But I am hopeful that the ME devs will continue with the progress made in ME3 in regards to gay male romance.  

I don't know about your Shep, but mine certainly didn't just "magically" start to like Kaidan.  He wished he could express his feelings since ME1, but was unsure if Kaidan felt the same way. Then in ME3 he tried to be all cool about it, but failed spectacularly and ended up having that really awkward lunch table conversation with Kaidan.  Lmao. 

Jacob probably inspired the creation of Blackwall, even though Jacob is manageable...

And I think Steve's romance is good enough for me (Kaidan too).

This is basically what I've been imagining Liam to resemble, given his age:

I have to give it to Mark Meer,  Raphael Sbarge and Matthew del Negro. I had no trouble believing any of their characters were gay and that they were hot for each other but I really hate that café line:

"You and me. It does feel right... After all this time..." It's sooo cheesey.

Still, it's better than in SWTOR where most of the player character voice actors do not sound convincing at all when they are supposed to be flirting/in love with Theron. Troy Baker is acting his arse off and the rest just sound bored. Except for maybe David Hayter who plays the Jedi Knight, I don't buy that the others are into dudes, especially since I've heard then flirt a million times with female NPCs so I know they can do it.

I really hope it's not an issue with Tom Taylorson. I don't think it will be because just listening to him speak, he is so damn earnest, I can't imagine him giving anything less than everything in scenes like that.

As for Liam, we'll just have to wait and see who they get or if he's even an m/m option.

I doubt it (though I'd love to be wrong). But! We'll be getting some Tempest info apparently, which means maaayyybe we'll catch a glimpse of some crew members?

Gimme some characters Bioware cuz that's why I play you!
