Cool. At looonnng last we've seen Liam! His hair is actually pretty cool, and it... certainly sets him apart from all the other "first/lawful good man" companions.
Our resident idealist? I think we'll be fast friends. Also despite his brief voice clip, I like his VA so far as well.
Sure beats the heck out of the N7 day trailer.
P.S: and he is apparently really smart.

Eheheh... just woke up from a nap to not only a new trailer, but also an Initiation vid!!?  And we finally got to see Liam! Though he's not super duper hot to me I think he's quite handsome and I like his design (am very impressed with his hair - considering ME's track record the idea of anything resembling an afro had me nervous but it looks great...), and I LOVE what we heard of his voice. I was a bit worried about the ex-cop thing (because, Garrus) but the fact that he was an engineer who got into crisis response sets him apart background-wise nicely. And he seems to have what looks like a fun attitude. I think I'll enjoy his rapport with my Pathfinder a lot, even as just a friend. Edit: Now I'm hoping for some some romance info... It's probably a safe bet he'll at least be available to Sara but I'd really like to know for sure (apparently the ME tradition of having the male protag's female romance option revealed first via trailer continues...  ) |

This means nothing but it's just kind of fun because Liam sounds like a total complement to my Ryder's planned character, since she's going to be rather uptight and neurotic. The funnier thing? If I mash their names together as a romantic pairing like people do, it's VaLiam. Which sounds like Valium. Which is perfect because my Ryder definitely needs some anxiety meds. It's like BioWare is unknowingly telling me that Liam MUST be her romance option.  |

Yeah, I wouldn't exactly call Cora's bodysuit 'armor.' It doesn't bother me over much. Especially as I suspect Liam might be a 'pure' engineer versus an infiltrator, so a lighter outfit make sense. (Tali didn't wear armor either.)

The "reach", man  Also... His personality, his character arc, his badass attitude, his friendship, his adorkable romance, his voice, his funny comments, his interaction with the rest of the crewmates, the second-of-command vibe from him and the colour blue is the best colour of any galaxy, so...  I did like his voice. I still do. Brandon Keener sounds sexy as f-ck when he speaks but I can't get over the beady eyes, the skinny arms and the ET fingers. Just imaging those things touching me makes me squirm in my seat for all the wrong reasons and kissing? Blech.... yuk, I don't even want to think about it  P.S. The one thing I have against Liam is the fact he's English (When Americans say British accent, they usually mean English) and I'm English so the accent has no particular appeal to me. Give me that Arkansas drawl and I'm drooling. Unless it's coming out of a man who look like a tree. As a straight female, I never romanced Garrus in any of my play throughs. I love him, but as a great friend. Nothing more. I am LOVING Liam, though. |

Also, it appears that Liam's surname is Kosta. With a K, according to the latest briefing. I was seeing Costa previously. If he's latino/mixed, I say his parents wanted to feel fancy. It's the only reason people use W and K here tbh |

He looks good in some scenes of the trailer and not so good in some other scenes. It's the same with Cora and BroRyder. Hopefully, the characters won't look too different in various scenes of the final game.
