I think he has them there (but I wouldn't have noticed them without seeing this first...might be just shadow and confirmation bias)

And is it just me, or is Liam slightly bigger than Scott?

I need a Liamologist's opinion on this:

Also, now this may just be me being overly hopeful and optimistic, but did anyone else get a sort of possible flirty vibe from Scott's face and head turn/ reaction to when Liam gave him the fist bump on the arm? Right before the trailer ended?

I am really not one to demand anything from a developer, and lol I'm not really outright being one of those that demand BioWare to do this, its just my biggest hope really for this game.

That may seem silly to some people, of all the things in the game, Liam being a LI for Scott seems insignificant, but to me it will be nice to know that Scott (and my male protagonist character) can romance a male squadmate from the beginning, and not have to settle with a squadmate 2 games later and/or just an NPC (sorry Cortez).

I really don't want to open up a whole debate thing here but, as a gaymer, I'm constantly having to project onto characters who may look like me, but aren't me in so much that they are straight. I know its already confirmed Scott can romance male characters, but Liam is obviously so immediately appealing as a character in terms of personality and appearance, the fact he's there from the beginning, and that he is a squadmate.

I'm concerned that Mac's comments about it having to feel right to the character means that Liam is only available for Sara, much like this feeling Cora may only be for Scott, and that Scott's same-sex options will only be NPCs. 

I will be disappointed if Liam isn't a LI for Scott. Even if Jaal, or three NPCs are LI for Scott, I'll still feel let down by the fact BioWare have again failed to allow gaymers to get to experience the same thrill of having a romance with a squadmate from the very beginning. I still worry that straight men, women and lesbians will again get the better options, and gay men will be stuck with NPCs.

Of course if all of the above is proved wrong, and Liam is a LI for Scott, then you can expect me to be beyond ecstatic. No kidding, I'll be having a party with my other gaymer friends.

I don't think you have to worry. I can't see BioWare leaving out a meaningful gay romance from any game that features romance going forward. They have, or are at least attempting, to make inclusivity a staple of their brand. 

Could use a different haircut but it's alright, will grow on me. Cora's hair is a disaster on another hand lol seriously Bioware, Kate Gosselin haircut...?

Tbh we really haven't seen anything but how he looks and a line or two from him, so we can't really say either way.

I hope he's a LI for both, but right now there is nothing to support anything. The only confirmed LI is Cora (besides some vague tweets about Peebee), and all we've seen is that she is available for Scott so far.

Oh it's a pretty safe bet he'll be an LI.

I was just commenting on my own very, very superficial first impression of him based on the trailer. 

Granted, this photo and the one above look pretty good. We'll see.
