Yay! Just pre-ordered!  Went for the Deluxe edition since the "super duper extreme deluxe" edition seems to only have extra pvp stuff, which is of little to no concern to me. |

This is the Australian store btw. But the price is in US dollars. Are you sure that's correct? I bought the DAI GOTY edition on Origin for $24.99 earlier this year and I was definitely charged in AUD. |

Just a side note but the fact that ME3 had coop instead of PvP was what made me enjoy it. I vastly prefer coop when it comes to multiplayer and I'd guess that MEAMP will be continue that trend. Hoping are least.  |

You don't buy on Origin...
You purchase the code/serial for the game from sources like EBay/On-line Gaming shops ect.

90 bucks for the regular version, 120 for the super deluxe. Is that the most retarded price you've ever seen or what? Especially considering I can easily nab the regular version on Ebay for 20 bucks brand new, like I did with ME3. This is the Australian store btw. But the price is in US dollars. Stinking thieves. Oh look, and the only difference between the deluxe and super deluxe are the weekly MP booster packs, one each week for 20 weeks. That's laughable. That's $1 per pack, literally 10 times cheaper than Gears of War is selling them for. |

Well, the thing that really helped a lot of these indie developers was Steam and distribution system that was all online. That means you had no real "need" for a developer. Also, it meant that you didn't have to be able to pony up the cash for DVD's, printed materials, boxes, someone to put them all in the boxes, etc. I believe the words you may be looking for include "publisher" or "retailer". Every game needs a developer, or else there is no game. |

Now if someone wants to buy them more power to them, but if I am buying something I don't want to be told I have to wait five months before I get what I paid for in full that is also why I dislike Season Passes and episodic games unless I am buying it after all the content has been released. |

Honestly, those prices do not seem too excessive to me give the scope and ambition of the game and it's (nearly) 2017. Of course, it wholly depends how good the game is. If it's DAI in space, not worth it...but then we can wait a couple months and pick up a cheap copy at Gamestop. If it's as in depth as TW3 then it's well worth even the highest price. My general rule of thumb regarding games are if I can get an hour per dollar spent of (continuous) enjoyment from a game it is well worth it. And if MEA lives up to our expectations, we'll far exceed that benchmark. Despite the nonsensical ending I played more than 2000 hours in the ME3 singleplayer game. Not bad considering I paid like 55-60$ for it. Hell if MEA can provide me 1/4 of that, I'd gladly drop 120$ on it. |

Here in sweden it's about $11 more expensive to buy from origin than various other webstore's. Seems it should be the other way around but whatever.
