Hi yall!
I wanted to raise an issue regarding the pricing of Bioware game DLC that you buy with Bioware points. They are still at their new prices, while the main games can be bought for like a third of the price of a single big piece of DLC, which has seemed quite wierd for several years. There have never been any sales on these. I love the Mass Effect series so damn much, but it's so hard to justify the price unless you bought it when the games and DLC where brand new. But now when years have passed and, and the main game is so cheap, and there is no physical GOTY SKU for these games besides from Dragon Age Origins, that can be bought for a reasonable price where EVEry pieece of DLC is bundled in. I would love to experience DLC like Lair of the Shadow Broker and such but it's really hard justify the price at this point in time, as well as the past few years. Would love to hear what people feel regarding this issue, and hopefully reach a dev so that more people can experience their work for a fairer price!

I gave up on buying DLCs because I don't see how a couple of sidequests on a decade-old game can cost as much as the new game. Until they release it as a bundle for a reasonable price, like 10 or 15 bucks for everything I am not going to bother.

They also never go on sale, which is rather annoying.

I thought the DLC were pretty fairly priced for what you got (except maybe Citadel). That's for the 360, don't know if prices differ on the various platforms.

I don't know. I enjoyed most of the DLC enough to pay for it.

DLC has gone on sale at least twice in the past year. One was a gamestop 33% off sale last Christmas and the other was an origin sale (but it only worked for ME3 DLC because Bioware points didn't go on sale). Not the greatest discount, but better than nothing.
My guess is there will be another Gamestop Christmas sale this year. Possibly followed by an announcement of an ultimate edition with all the DLC in it just to troll us.

While I've enjoyed the DLC's, I must agree that they are way over-priced. I bought a physical copy of the ME trilogy boxset from Amazon back in October for £10. Meanwhile, The Citadel is still £12 on it's own. But what'd you expect? This is EA we're talking about.
