Popping in just to say this: I thought I would hate Peebee before the game came out, but she's actually my favourite character along with Reyes I love how she warms up to Ryder, I think her friendship arc is really well done. She's my Sara's best friend.

^I'd use it if I wasn't so addicted to the wallpaper I have for at least 3 years... 3rd phone, the same wallpaper. I simply can't change it.

So I was messing around with a character who is kind of mean (including to PeeBee), and was pleasantly surprised that she still offered the zero g sex despite never flirting with her. A few things baffled me afterwards though.

There are no flirt options after the scene. Apparently, if you haven't flirted ever before, a lot of flirt options get cut off. It's strange that you can't initiate another zero g session with a flirt option after this.

The first question for those who have followed through with playthroughs like this is, will PeeBee still try to fully romance you if you hadn't even flirted with her so far? Or does she treat it as a one time thing?

The second question relates to a line she said during the scene.

"You haven't taken the bait so far, but I can handle rejection."

Am I that dense? Because I don't recall anymore than one or two possible examples (based on possible non-flirt responses) that come remotely close to her insinuating she's actually interested in you. I hope she's not referring to things like asking if she should pursue Jaal. Take it from that turian mentioning the angara's sister during Sloane's party. Acting interested in someone else is probably a crappy way to get someone to know you're interested in them.

In ME:A, it seems you have to basically pat love interests on the shoulder to give the go-ahead to actually flirt with you. I prefer that some characters actually initiate romance, even if you'll end up rejecting them. It would be interesting to start a romance where PeeBee actually initiates it.

Definitely 'eat a little of this', or 'how bout a little of this?' I don't play with subtitles so I can't say I know for certain, but I'm 95% sure that's what it is

On that topic, my personal favourite Peebee battle line is, 'it's making babies!' Nearly spat my drink the first time I heard it. Thanks for the heads up, Peebs.

I do use subtitles and those lines during fights don't show up on the subtitles so it's been driving me nuts since the game came out.    I'd rather her say, "eat a little of this" because otherwise I can't tell how she needs "a little assist". I do pay attention for her other lines where she counts down to sending someone flying, so I can add my powers then (hopefully for a combo). 

BTW, are the "babies" the creepers or are they more of the assemblers and observers?

Reminds me a little of SWTOR's Kira Carsen and her "eat lightsaber, jerk!" line.

Questions:

1. Do you prefer the zero-G or no zero-G full romance and why?

I go for the zero-G sex. Ryder had been through a lot - Alec's death, Scott in a coma, inheriting the Pathfinder job - and needed to feel close to someone, even if the intimacy was only physical at that point. The main event is still a big deal, since it's the first time Peebs has ever embraced eternity.


2. Do you kill Kalinda?

With no hesitation or remorse. She'd been using and abusing Peebee for quite awhile, and didn't think twice about having her mooks all killed while trying to kill us. On second playthrough, I let her live, just to see the different outcome.


3. How do you feel about movie night with a PeeBee romance post-patch 1.06?

It's sweet.

On another note: I kind of like the revelation that actual melding is a separate thing from basic (casual) sex. I'd always sort of suspected that it was, and Peebee's romance verified it.
