Peebee (Official Thread)

OK, off-the-wall theory about Peebee. I suppose somewhere in these 142 pages it was brought up but I'm not going to try to find it. I'm doing a playthrough of ME2. Just had a chat with Matriarch Aethyta. In addition to mention of her pureblood daughter, she also mentions how over 1000 years asari find love in the arms of a number of races, one of those named being elcor. We know Peebee had an elcor father. We also know BioWare likes to drop hints (or pick up on old dialogue). We also know that Peebee has an older, pureblood sister. Is it possible that in addition to being Liara's father, Aethyta is also Peebee's mother?

EDIT: I know the older sister is 500 years older but Peebee's wiki entry mentions that her mother only mates with other asari, except in the elcor instance.  This implies her mother has other pureblood children.

Are you sure?  I found this quote: "For the rest of her lifespan, she had many mates, including a turian, elcor, and a hanar."  It's from the ME wiki: Matriarch Aethyta.  Also, this video.  Not proof but evidence that she possibly mated with more than hanar.

I have a few questions for PeeBee fans.

1. Do you find it strange that PeeBee never melded before?

She considered Kalinda like family once. They were close enough to join a one-way trip to another galaxy together. People claim PeeBee's trust issues come from her abusive relationship with Kalinda, but there must be more to it if they never melded before their arrival in Heleus; before their romance went downhill.

2. Anyone else think PeeBee might cheat on Ryder eventually?

A red flag went off when she was ok with having physical relations in zero g even if you're with someone else; indicating a lack of respect for monogamy. Also, plenty of people end up cheating without her "been there, done that" desire to constantly try new things. She's also naturally flirty; including with others when already romancing her, which is the first step in the cheating direction.

3. Does that e-mail she sends after the epilogue put you off?

It basically says if you cannot keep up with her adventuring, she'll ditch you. I could see getting such an e-mail in a platonic relationship, but felt out of place in a romance.



EDIT: One more additional question...

4. Do you see Ryder and PeeBee ever having children?

I don't. In a few hundred years (when asari normally have them), I could possibly see PeeBee settling down. That's assuming her plot armor doesn't wear by then and she's still alive, of course. It's not like with Shepard and Liara, who I certainly could see procreating. Liara matured very quickly and seemingly skipped her teenage years altogether mostly. She comes across as the type to settle down with someone very early in her life.

Wow, Peebee looks so different without her Zoro makeup, looks pretty cute as well.

Although I think I prefer her with makeup, it suits her so well.

Eh, I never much cared for her raccoon paint thing. It screams, "Look at me! I'm different!" which is precisely why Bioware had her wear it all the time: to make her different from previous asari. It's nice to see it removed for a change. She has a nice face.

While we're at it, I don't much care for her nickname either. Her natural name is beautiful, but PeeBee sounds so childish/comical that it's hard to take her seriously. I don't know why only Kalinda ever says her actual name because I cringe when crewmates say "PeeBee." It reminds me of Qwib-Qwib. No mod will change that though.
