The did shown Ryder's hairs though, and they look good enough to me. Same goes for Alec's and Scott's beards.

They have to show him and the female companion without helmets before release anyway. The backlash would be present in any case.
If anything, the sooner the better.

She's as "ugly" as Sera - a character I really wanted to romance but couldn't because she's anti-dick

I'm romancing PeeBee unless she's an asari with a sexuality-complex... and unless there's some other really attractive or interesting romancable character in my playthrough.

I also kinda hope the Ryder you don't play as can have their own romance amongst the crew. Wouldn't that be cool? And I'm not talking about Tali and Garrus like in ME3 I mean, for real, where it happens and gets referenced during combat or conversations with either of them.

I also fully expect them to pull it off similarly to DA2 where there's a fair amount of time spent with the sibling, but then they're also completely gone for half the game. We know we will be interacting with them for important moments though.

Also, they hinted that NG+ is in the game and it lets you switch from male to female, and I have a feeling the idea there is to take the male ryder you've customized as well as female in your first playthrough and then switch roles.

In Skyrim I gave my male bosmer a similar name as my female bosmer and imagined them being siblings. Haven't played the male for more than an hour but the plan was for him to skip the main story and do his own thing. Do a guild storyline I didn't do with the female. So they can actually both be in this world at the same time.

Of course it wouldn't be like that in Andromeda. But I like the idea of "what if things had been different". Especially if there's a specific reason why the sibling simply cannot be the savior even if they wanted (like cryosleep complications). And it's entirely the luck of the draw who gets dealt the cosmic shit card. That's realistic.

I have no problem importing the same Shepard into ME3 twice and play out two different romance outcomes. Alternate reality is cool. It doesn't taint the other PT for me. But I can understand how playing both siblings feels weird.

Peebee appears the same in this trailer though. And we have the GI shots of SisRyder, as well the one of Alec for the facial hairs.

Also, regardless if cinematic or not (which might just mean some scenes are taking from different angles compared to the game) the shots of Scott in the trailer seems to be taken during conversations or cutscenes in the game.

I didn't mean that the angle made it different. I mean that just because it's cinematic doesn't mean it wasn't taken from the game's cutscenes. 

The tech demo could be from a previous build.

I'm just amused that the whole off on her own thing implies that, they arrived in Andromeda, she took a look around, then basically said 'bye nerds' - and went solo in a completely unfamiliar galaxy. Interesting. She might be living amongst an alien colony after the Nexus has already made first contact, or an established colony of the Nexus maybe. Was it confirmed she came in on the Nexus not the Asari Ark? I can't remember. Her reason for leaving will be interesting to uncover, in any case.

Well....I only ever romances Asari and  even tho some seem to hate Liara with a passion I am not planning to change that soooo 
Also...oone has to wonder why Peebee? Who was her "father"?, she does not look like a pure blood...what species was he/she?

I hope someone in game nicknames her Raccoon, or the Hamburglar asari.
