The only way I have found that works for me is to unplug the cable that goes to my xbox and router before the DLC check at the menu. Then plugging it back in at the menu and then signing in.
But I just got my NAT type to be open on my xbox one and I don't know if unplugging the cable will upset the NAT type so I really don't want to do that.
People have said that I need to put the DLC on a separate device like a jump drive. Well that's what I did. I have Mass Effect 3 saved to the internal hard drive of the xbone and all the DLC on my 4 terabyte external. So I unplugged the external hard drive and started up ME3 and once I got past the DLC check at the menu I plugged the external back in and wait for it to be ready. Then I tried to play but it doesn't recognize that I have the DLC plugged in I guess because once I go to the multiplayer none of the DLC is there. So I have no idea what to do. Other than throwing the piece of shit against the wall and say fuck it and watch porn, but I do that anyways. Wubba lubba dub dub.

budhalen (thank you!) gave me this fix: you uninstall Retaliation then start the game; after you pass the DLC check you go into the XBone game menu and install Retaliation again. Once fully installed you can play the game normally. Of course, you have to host...

Have you tried resynching your N7HQ profile? My friend tried and it was no help. Do you think bypassing DLC check will help?

Have you tried resynching your N7HQ profile? My friend tried and it was no help. Do you think bypassing DLC check will help? Nope, neither of these things help. I've had the glitch for about 6 or 8 months and one day it just magically cured itself. All we know that it has something to do with challenges of your own or of somebody on your friend's list and that it is on the server side. Although, even complete clearing of the Origin friend list (yes, people have done even that) does not cure. Lately, I've been stumbling on some new type of syncing. It looks like when you have some consumables in the game which you should not have and which were obviously illegally obtained through the use of the console, there is some brief syncing during the match with the store. It is sort of random and selective. If there is a mismatch, you are thrown out to main menu by the server. It does immediately reconnect even before you are in the main menu without any other consequences, well, apart from ruining the match you were playing. Remedy for this new glitch is simple. Just visit the store to resync. Sometimes, your console generated consumables disappear but sometimes, they are still there after the visit. It's like 50-50 for me.

And to clarify for anybody else reading this post... You can PUG too. But to play via invites & friends, you have to be the host. How has chat audio been working? Is there now a difference in lobby chat and party chat behavior running the game on a 360 emulator?

Because the unplugging of the Internet works but NAT type becomes "unavailable" when I do.

fucking xbox...this bullshit signing in glitch has been going on non-stop for nearly 5 months straight. I have become an expert at bypassing this garbage. I have several fixes..all of them work.....if one doesn't do it for ya then try the next...it will log you in.
1. Turn the xbox on with you not being connected to internet....unplug the LAN or wireless.....next, go into your storage where your ME3 files are and do a clear cache performance on that drive ( highlight the drive, hit the options button..go to clear cache ) ...then start the game. Once you make it to menu where you pick your options after the checks are finished...then plug in your LAN/wireless, go right to the MP option and press button...let it log in your gamer profile that way...( don't sign in 1st then hit the MP option)...this works the majority of the time.
once you do ^^^ and you happen to get the redeem online pass.....press the redeem option and let it go thru to the screen where you would normally have to download it..but since it doesn't exist anymore, just hit cancel...it should put you thru immediately to MP.
2: If you did ^^^^^ and it didn't log you in...what works every single time it to just reset the router, turn off the xbox...do the same where you unplug your net stuff and start the game offline...let it go thru the checks and plug back in net stuff, click on multiplayer and it will go thru without any redeem pass problems.
These processes take about 5-10 minutes if you have to use both of them. I know this situation sucks ass but these 2 options work every time. Learn to fix your shit BioWare.
