When they mentioned some characters might be interested in romance but not sex, the first thing I thought of was a Salarian romance, honestly. I think out of all the characters you couldn't romance in the original trilogy, the two I would have loved to see the most were Joker and Mordin. Salarians are one of my favorite ME species and I've been dying for a badass STG style salarian solider/squaddie. While I'm a little disappointed that we're almost certainly not getting that, I'm at least a comforted that our pilot is a salarian so they are present. Hopefully this one is as prominent as Joker. Do we know for sure that it's a guy? I know that female salarians are usually not in the front lines, but they'd have to have sent some out on this new initiative, so maybe that's how they could justify her being on our ship? (likely it's a guy, though)

It's so cool to have a salarian pilot. I always loved salarians. I always found them to be so cute! Cute as in adorable, with their big eyes and fast speech. The workers at the Dantius Tower just tore my heart out seeing them suffer :crying:

Romance wise, I don't know. I don't think I'd be opposed to it, so long as the character was right for it. I thought the two (salarian and human) outside of the Purgatory nightclub were pretty cute.
