Fellow speedrunners,
As i m losing time and waste karma along doomed speedrun attempts. I should quit early most of them... but i m stubborn MoFo
Do u guys use a timer and have some time marks for gold or plat (solos) ?
Atm i m on gold white reapa and thunderdome for sub 20 or around. I guess it s a bit faction dependant and a smaller bit map dependant, but not that much.

I have a split timer ( live split) but I don't think I've used it for ME3 MP. I don't often quit early even if I know a run is going bad (due to objectives, spawns, deaths in early waves, etc.) just because I'm usually not patient enough to grind or go for a particular time anyway. |

Forgot nuking is the main thing, but on gold we almost all nuke 5 8 and 9 (8 and 9 twice in optimal conditions). But I just should look at others timetable and launch my kitchen timer  |

I'll sometimes quit if I get a particularly bad objective (almost always either targets or devices), but usually I'll just play it out since I always need credits for more Venom amps.

But I just should look at others timetable and launch my kitchen timer Since the stage 2 is vs trollectors,i recommend 7 wave 1 rocket,8 wave 2 rockets and 9 wave 2 rockets.Or 7 wave 2 and 9 1. |

ok, i have been there again for a few months now  . I m still amazed i can get better/faster, i guess i am a really slow learner. So i got better, but i still need to get good, maybe it s time to use live split. Yesterday i had a excellent fury run on gold glacier reapers, good missiles and even kind objectives. But i clearly felt W9 was tooking forever... Still, in my recent runs, i never had as much good spawn nuking and few consumables used while being on my top aggresivness shape  ? I ended up in more than 26' !! Few days ago, i got sub 24 with a shitty run on so many parameters !
So no, missiles are not even 1/5 of the job
Yeah time to livesplit And then i m back on surviving the gordian hour |

Yeah time to livesplit And then i m back on surviving the gordian hour You are so wrong.The missiles are the MAIN thing for a good speedrun.Of course the gameplay too.There are few things-the missiles management,agressive gameplay and a luck.Under luck i mean that you need great spawns and good objectives.Also the objectives placement is a very important thing.Sometimes you can get good objectives,but very poorly placed.I personaly don't use livesplit or programs like this.After so many speedruns i can feel if i am fast enough or not. |

YEah, well, that s why i cant understand that 26 min stuff. I had at least 4 very good spawns nuked in this run. But i spent w9 running around, dont know why, i could nt find any spot to stand and fight. I guess it s w9 stuff (2 bashees, brutes, ravager and maybe 1 shielded PoS) and poor luck and bad managment, but still, i was on a 22' route, so 24 i might have understood, 26 ...
So maybe i m not even yet at that stage where good missiles is the main thing... EVEN on fucking gold
