Joker is a very nice character, certainly one of my fav XD funny guy !
Not interested to have him as a LI, I mean, no mandibles you know XD but he was like a brother to my Shepard. I was damn happy when I saw him back on ME2 !

I love Joker, seeing him at the start of ME2 with the whole Normandy reborn section....pretty awesome. Although dude, you totally just got me killed.

The jokes are much needed too. His robot dancing, the back and forth between him and Garrus 'Glad to see he's taken that stick out of his ass...only now he's beating ppl to death with it'
ME would be a poorer place without him, that's for sure.

I feel so bad listening to the asari in the hospital talking about his sister though.

"You used me as bait?!"

Best moment had to be the look he gives EDI when she jokes about enjoying the sight of humans on their knees!

Joker, I keep telling you that I never danced in front of my crew! Why do people assume I'm a terrible dancer?!

I just did an ending scene of ME3, just to take another look at it. I was thinking how sad Joker was to have to turn the Normandy around to escape the beam. Then it got me thinking about why that might be. In ME1, Joker was definitely all about the ship. So much so that when it wa destroyed at the beginning of ME2, he deluded himself into thinking he could save it. When Shepard died saving him, he probably felt a lot of guilt over it.

Cut to his intro in ME2 when it's revealed he's joined Cerberus and will be flying the SR2. His stated reasons are that the Alliance grounded him and Cerberus would let him fly. I call bullshit on that because Joker knew full well that Cerberus was a terrorist organization. He'd never join them just to fly. He'd sooner become a civilian pilot.

The hook for Joker (and Chakwas) was Shepard. They were told Shepard was alive, but badly injured and recovering, and that Shepard would be working with them to stop the Collectors. Guilt can do that kind of thing. He's not a moron like Jacob in this matter. I have really come to believe that his guilt was so overwhelming that he was willing to go with Shepard until the end. He didn't want to abandon Shepard on the Citadel at the end of ME3. And he did come to Earth when Shepard called for an evac, something that seems to be crazy.

I believe that Joker became fanatically loyal to Shepard. He's not capable of expressing it verbally, but his actions show he'd follow Shepard anywhere. Anyway, that's my take on him.
