If you only use it as an AoE source power for Warp Rounds, rank 3 is fair enough.

One thing I noticed when playing the ACA, he does so much damage anyway even if you don't detonate a single biotic explosion the entire game as the ACA but the option is always there to throw the seeker swarms if I want to or not.
I'm thinking of changing my build in terms of changing geth scanner to commando package. And maybe taking away swarm count for either more power damage via vengeful ancient or more recharge speed via ascension stance.

I love them BE myself, and it s the only kit who can cast 4 BEs in 2 secs. I settled on power damage with him cause it s what makes him special and cause i found the soldier build boring. But enjoying weapon and power DPS at the same time is pretty neat too  . Anyway, AS sucks imo, so i just put it once or twice on, and damage +12 gear sucks a bit too. So full passive or DC for me. |

I think AS is decent, I wouldn't say it's amazing but I think it's alright for anyone who wants to spec into it. Although I haven't tried a fully spec'd AAA Ascension Stance, I can say I've ran AS in one game on gold (Also without cyclonics) without realising I haven't activated seeker swarms until wave 11 and, I didn't die as much with that 15% damage penalty, with 25% damage penalty I have yet to try if it makes a big difference, in how often I die with and without having SS active.
The only advantage I can say for AS is that you can increase both weapon and power damage unlike in passives you can only choose one or the other in terms of picking for example more power damage in 4B or more weapon damage in 4A and again the obvious disadvantage is that damage penalty for AS.
