I don't know what it is about origin, but it is somehow vaguely annoying and just inconvenient. But maybe it is not the Origin, it's the idea of having to buy DLCs and downloading every stupid tiny little thing separately. But, I do not play multiple games, so I will be buying Andromeda regardless, so might as well pay to Origin, because, well, I honestly am not really savvy in the way of the modern options. Plus, being a Canadian, our options normally are very limited compared to the States to start with.

Lol, what I would prefer, is going to a store and buying a darned game-in-a-box with no codes and downloads and the rest of the headaches.

i really like pathfinder's setting but i REALLY don't like how focused on min/maxing the rules are. it's designed from the ground up by and for min/maxer's and autists. the rest of us normies have to play on crayon eater difficulty just to hit a target.

well I use Origin Access and have been using it since it came out so my answer would be yes, I would use Origin Access for Mass Effect Andromeda especially since I use Origin Access for the Mass Effect Trilogy and the DLC and several other games

I bought exactly ONE game through Origin: DAI.
(Technically two if you count Jade Empire as a freebie.)

Next year I will add exactly one more game to the list: MEA.

I stronly dislike having to put up with Origin just for Bioware. And I probably won't buy right upon release anyway. So emphatically: NO!

Edit: Oops, forgot I bought Unravel on sale three days ago (I keep forgetting about it because I never even bother to log in). Still my answer remains: hell no.

Me getting it on Access depends on several things:

1. Whether or not I decide to get a digital copy over a physical one.

2. Whether or not I can find a pre-order purchase price of sub-$50 or $60.

3. Whether or not Access causes me to exceed the MSRP of the standard edition or the Deluxe in order to play the game.

4. Whether or not I can find a reliable VPN for free or for a cost that does not cause the combined Access, game, and VPN purchase to exceed the MSRP of the standard or Deluxe.

If I can, say, get the standard edition, Origin Access, and a VPN to unlock the game early after I burn through the Access hours for $60 or less, then I'll get Access. If not, I'll skip it.

The answer is: no. As a matter of fact, I'll rather avoid connecting to ME:A related web services, including this forum, in the period between the early access and the official launch date. There are too many trolls on the web who will totally spoil the game only to enjoy trolling people. Besides, I'm angry with BioWare because of the delayed launch date in Europe. Why that? I actually voted yes, but have since learned that DAI only gave you 6 hours to play. In that case, it's not worth it to me compared to just setting the VPN to the earliest possible releasing country (usually Korea) a couple of days later.
