If you want to play Mass Effect Andromeda as early as possible a 10-hour trial version will be available from March 17th via EA Access and Origin Access for Xbox One and PC players respectively. From this articleSo I am thinking about it, just for the one month, and canceling on the 18th. wow 10 hour trial... that actually is really just annoying. the least they could do is make it available 1-2 days earlier for Origin Access. 1 week earlier like battlefield 1 is too much in my opinion, but wheres the problem with 2 days so the hardcore fans can enjoy the game earlier if they pay extra At least europeans could play it on the official launch day instead of the really annoying delayed release, i thought publishers stopped doing seperate launches.....

if it were on steam or GOG i would reconsider. but atm it's not so that gives me all the more reason to pirate it as to NOT give a SINGLE cent to EA's get-rich-quick schemes.

Wait wait wait wait wait...You are telling me that you are excited for the game and eager to buy it, but NOT from the people actually giving you the game and paying for the creation of the game, so instead of helping Bioware pay their employees which feeds their children, pays for their college, etc, you are instead going to pirate the game because you don't think big businesses should try to make money? I mean what "get rich quick" schemes are they pulling? If you look at the cost of developing games and how that has increased over the past several decades and see that the price of games has remained constant, you have to see that some of their "schemes" are merely ways to offset the much larger cost of developing games in the modern market. Please, don't be selfish and deny Bioware their rightful money and purchase statistics because of some misinformed vendetta against a gaming publisher that has tried very hard to change their image and methods for the betterment of gamers and their investors.

Origin Access is a monthly fee to play certain games for free or at low cost. To my knowledge, ME:A hasn't been offered up there. 14 months of Origin Access would be the same as the cost of the deluxe version of the game (the version I'm getting). Assuming I'll enjoy the game, I might well still be playing 14 months later. Don't think I need to play early, though. Battlefield and FIFA definitely don't grab my attention. I think I'll pass on Origin Access.

You can totally prefer Steam or whatever other platform you wish. But please don't say that because you have an issue with Origin that you would pirate the game. That is a total disservice to the very people who are working hard to make an amazing game and put food on the table.

Almost two months later and I am still the only one to boycott Origin. I am fine with that.

I gotta say when I heard of this I was considering it but I've decided not to. In the end it just came down to being practical. While I would love to get my greedy hands on the game as soon as possible it just isn't practical for me. I want to play and own the game on PS4. So it wouldn't make sense to buy the game twice.

i would like to see what the mass effect fans prefer. --- Origin Access description copy & pasted from the store: (European / German price here, may vary on other countries) Great PC games, unlimited play. Just 3,99 € a month. Explore an instant collection of great PC games and play as much as you want. Origin Access members also get to try new EA games before they’re released and save 10% on Origin purchases*. Cancel anytime. --- I believe the last thing i have seen from origin access was Battlefield 1, with origin access you could play one week earlier. Edit: Original Poll results until January 2017: Yes: 7 No: 60 maybe, yes: 2 maybe, no: 0 no, Boycott: 1 hell yeah and i will on xbox one
