Uh oh. Automatic cover. Everyone thinks that they're going to choose their romance, but they're wrong. Ryder's OTP will be chest-high walls. Yeah I'm not liking the sound of this automatic cover. It could be extremely annoying in multiplayer when trying to RHA or similar and you get automatically glued to a wall if standing too close... I hope they consider adding a manual cover option that can be toggled in the game menu so players who want to manually enter cover by pressing a button can still do that. I didn't like auto cover in ME1 so not happy about it coming back. If I look at how it works in BF1 there is no glueing. Basically, you can peek over low cover or around high cover if you are in an appropriate position. But you don't get pulled around for that.

But it does seem to mean you'll be pulled into hard cover if you're too close from a wall. Annoying if you wanted to remain in soft cover. Guess I will have to adapt and learn to stay far enough from them, even more when running away from ennemies.

Ha!.. My just finished MP game had me running when the game sucked me next to a corner "cover" while my butt was exposed to enemy fire. Same when attempting to help a team member. Worst piece of game design ever.

Much of it is rather connectivity related, that's when your keystrokes and the host disagree what the input is supposed to mean. It just becomes more obvious with an animation and a locked position.

Really happy to hear they are using the first names too "The Shepard" this and that is fun for a while, but it gets awkward in certain situations (here I am, furiously romancing Kaidan, after being denied to do so for the first 2 games, and "Shepard" just ruins my fantasy... not cool lol). Even if it's limited to the default names, it's still great news. Scott Ryder it is

I was excited to hear about first names until someone said it was only going to be default only. I'd rather they have a range of names to choose from if we want the option to hear our name. I'm still hoping that it was a misunderstanding and that there will be other options to choose from.
