I do hope Vetra is for BroRyder at least.
I am all for a romance where you spend time butting heads, slowly building bridges and lowering walls.
Something like Cassandra in DAI: a strong woman utterly capable of kicking your ass and with zero compunction to remember you she can.
What can I say? I love tall woman with character… (k'ehleyr anyone?)
It’s always a bumpy road, but the destination is so worth it, if done correctly: in short, I hope in a love story among equally headstrong character.
I imagine BroRyder will face rejection multiple time in this kind of scenario, trying to swoon over our beautiful bird lady. But insisting and proving he’s not a fool, in the end he will be all over her, while she will accuse us of being so bad for a disciplined soldier like herself… and confess of being unable to resist us anymore.
Also, 2 things I would like to see in this kind of romance: while tall, I always imagined Turian to be on the light side of weight (skinny and with light bones). So I’m all up for a “princess carry” scene where BroRyder brings finally Vetra in his cabin in front of all the Tempest crew, in a choir of whistling and jests…
Maybe even with Drack belching a “Finally!” with a sly smile, while Vetra and BroRyder have only eyes for each other.
I also would like to see a lot of snuggle this time... not the one time stand the trilogy of ME has used us to.

Aaand now I must see again any episode of TNG with klingon ambassador k'ehleyr...

Vetra interest: stronger than Peebee atm. I hope she has her own unique persona and is just not another version of rebel Garrus.

Agree with your Cora and PeeBee predictions, reckon Vetra will be bi tho. Not something I'd pursue myself, I like Turians but not that much.

By the book? Aveline? Weren't she, Carver, and Warrior/Rogue Hawke technically deserters from the Fereldan army? How by the book is it to not arrest an Abomination, a Blood Mage, and the thieves, smugglers, and killers in Hawke's party? Sure, you could say that she's keeping an eye on them, but such compassion is not exactly the legal standard in Thedas. And this is coming from someone who likes Aveline.

Since Liam is already the cop of our new squad, that's one way Vetra won't be just a distaff Garrus. If the writers really wanted to differentiate Vetra from Archangel, she could be our primary field scientist, another thing we haven't seen many Turians do*. Personally, if Vetra is a more "by the book" character, I would prefer it was by Turian standards, and not necessarily Human ones.

*Though you could argue that Virimire was Saren in his Mad Scientist mode .

I wouldn't mind a happy go lucky Turian at all. I know two anime characters who were like that and they were the kind of people that if they existed in real life, I could have myself being friends with them.

Even if they made Vetra a more "traditional" Turian who's a total stickler for the rules, a Rivalmance with her might be a lot of fun to play, assuming there's a lot of belligerent sexual tension between her and Ryder.

If Vetra moves in with us what do you hope she leaves in our room or customizes it with? Maybe shes big into Turian traditions and culture. Maybe a painting from a famous turian or something she brought from Palaven?

Ok but what space pet do we get this time? (excluding the pyjak since that is an exclusive and not available in regular versions of the game)

Well Id be down with her weapon mods and custom guns if she wants to give me gifts hehe. Turians do have there arts, read the codex entries in the Palaven solar system in ME3

Maybe a statue or something commemorating the end of the human vs turian First Contact war?
