Vetra Nyx, Maker Bless Sheryl Chee! (Official Thread)

Ok but what space pet do we get this time? (excluding the pyjak since that is an exclusive and not available in regular versions of the game)

I personally will consider it a let down, if Vetra turns out to be a cold person.
I hope she will be someone, who will always cheer up Ryder in tough moments. Not necessarly by saying something funny, but always smart/well thought.

Another thought...Jack levels of unhinged turian could be fun (although I don't see Vetra being like that)

I haven't actualy romanced Jack yet...I just can't make myself listen to Sheploo for 60 hours >_<

I am hoping she is the opposite of Garrus and rather overly serious and wanting to be taken seriously (and gets fantastically and cutely flustered when you poke at her like Bastila).

By the book? Aveline? Weren't she, Carver, and Warrior/Rogue Hawke technically deserters from the Fereldan army? How by the book is it to not arrest an Abomination, a Blood Mage, and the thieves, smugglers, and killers in Hawke's party? Sure, you could say that she's keeping an eye on them, but such compassion is not exactly the legal standard in Thedas. And this is coming from someone who likes Aveline.

Since Liam is already the cop of our new squad, that's one way Vetra won't be just a distaff Garrus. If the writers really wanted to differentiate Vetra from Archangel, she could be our primary field scientist, another thing we haven't seen many Turians do*. Personally, if Vetra is a more "by the book" character, I would prefer it was by Turian standards, and not necessarily Human ones.

*Though you could argue that Virimire was Saren in his Mad Scientist mode .

Probably just to try something new. I thought we would of gotten a male Turian squadmate. Glad Bioware is shaking it up a bit.
