Gina Torres as her VA, damn that would be great!

When I saw the video I kyated at her height, but she's probably gonna be much shorter than that in most cutscenes when the game's out. Reducing the tall models size is more comfortable and they did it in all previous games save from a few cutscenes. Which is a shame because adjusting the poses would like, only require to fix the neck and the elbows, that's not monster work. I was hoping this time, they would put special effort into leaving the tall aliens their decent height, but the krogans look a little short so far. (ﾉ´ｰ`)ﾉ

Kind of hoping she's gonna be a nerd here. She would be so cute at it. She's totally gonna be my best friend or romance option if it's possible. No matter how she turns out to be, she couldn't disappoint me to the point where I'd turn to the human options. (´ω｀) Turians are amazing. I'm sure she's gonna be an awesome teammate. I can't wait to fight alongside her, I can see her being an infiltrator, she'd rock it, just look at her.

I want her to be my bff.. partner in crime, whatever. Love it.

So confirmed on twitter that Vetra is at least 2m tall and all that came to mind for me was that's really fucking tall and I am 100% ok with this new info.

I haven't measured, but I'd wager that she's over 2m when standing tall.

Speaking of Vetra and her height:

If the heights were correctly applied in the video, I guess that means Sara really isn't small, that's good since FemShep was already a shorty. ( I've seen somwhere that she was supposed to be 160cm, but that may have been a petty liar spreading his headcanon, I haven't checked the source. )

Anyway, I hope the relationship between Vetra and Peebee isn't enemies to lovers since everyone's seeing it coming right now and I was already disappointed enough when I figured out Nyreen and Aria were lovers and not best friends, the latter I had been picturing very well. I think it means much more when people as different as Nyreen and Aria ( and maybe Vetra and Peebee ) manage to become friends than finding a way into each other's pants. I hope they don't go the un-original way with them.

Yes, they were the exact same height, but that's because they're the same character doing the same things and they didn't want to bother adjusting FemShep's elbows and neck every cutscene where she was touching something or someone so her hands wouldn't be 10cm below the actual stuff and she wouldn't be staring at people's chest instead of their heads. That's also the reason why ManShep was sometimes shorter than female characters like Ashley. The heights weren't respected for the comfort of the animations, changing depending on the cutscene playing. ( For exemple, Ashley is taller than ManShep the first time you see her in ME3, that's because they animated this scene with Kaiden and Femshep before replacing them by Ashely and ManShep. Still, they didn't make much height difference between all the characters and different races so swapping wouldn't be an issue. )

They may ( « may » is the key word here ) be respecting it this time since Vetra is very tall in the recent trailer. We can only hope she'll remain that way. Also, we may get to know if krogans are actually short or tall. They often seem short in cutscenes because they put characters to default shoulder level ( so, again, their hands don't end up misplaced ) so aliens with long necks like salarians look tall and krogans with their crushed heads look short. But I still find it strange that they didn't bother making them taller, since they're the « big guys » of the galaxy. So who knows, maybe they've always been supposed to be small.

Hopefully they'll manage to take Vetra's height into account during cutscenes.

Despite the best work of the animators for DAI, who really went above and beyond (let's not undersell their efforts) to try to get the Qunari Inquisitor implemented correctly, their height did occasionally fluctuate or cause cutscenes to look off.

Such as the memorable first conversation with Cullen with a female Qunari Inquisitor, right after arriving at Skyhold. Because her height made her too large to fit into the frame, it ultimately looked like Cullen spent the entire scene chatting to (and checking out) her rack.

Any ideas from you guys on how I should use her when the models done? We do have Andersons apartment of course
