Definitely. I also approve just because it would be different. We haven't had that many female Turians in Mass Effect anyway.

In the original, you had two female turians--Nyreen, and the one that Garrus can flirt with in Citadel if he isn't being romanced. If you want to count the comics, there's another one in the Mass Effect: Evolution comic, who was a lieutenant that Jack Harper, the future Illusive Man, fights during the First Contact War.

Man, I am going to be so nettled if Vetra ends up being a male only romance and once again, the asari is the only option for the female protagonist. Was really annoying being limited to Liara for pretty much the entirety of Mass Effect 1-3.

 At the very least, the save editor will come along, then females can romance Vetra. I remember doing this with Garrus because the game didn't allow you to do it as male Shepard. Plus, I always romance my favorite characters first. 

When I play the game, I will be going crazy over Vetra like I do with Garrus and Tali. I remember shouting Garrus's name when I played ME1 for the 2nd time. Same with Tali. Then things are going to get emotional when Andromeda's romance theme starts kicking in.

I romanced her in the first game. This time, I will romance her all the way. She's my 3rd favorite so that's why I'm going with her. I can see why you went with her. She's great.
Aside from Garris being my favorite character, it was the fact that he was Turian that made me go with him before Tali. Vetra's a Turian so I'm going for it.

Oh don't get me wrong, Liara is a solid choice and was who I stuck with for my first playthroughs in all the games, I just really would've appreciated some variety in what was available for a f/f romance in the trilogy(mostly I just want a romance option other than a human/asari, since m/f got tali and liara and f/m got garrus and thane).

Though it is possible that either vetra/peebee is bi and the other is lesbian. Which would be nice change.

I remember someone wrote in an article that Vetra might end up being a happy go lucky person that doesn't like guns and the calibration behind them(they don't think this will be the case though). I don't know about not the calibration part, but it would be interesting to see a character that doesn't like to use guns, but uses them anyway.

That could be interesting. I love how in Dragon Age: Inquisition Josephine was a pacifist among a paramilitary organization, so it would be neat to see that with a character who struggles between that and wanting to help protect people like their teammates. 

I would find difficult to believe in a pacifist Turian lady, character wise.
In universe, Turians are a race of war nerds with 15 millennia of military history in their DNAs. A race where personal sacrifice for the platoon and the meritocracy is given as due and expected from every single cadet who completed basic military training (obligatory at age 15, I think?). The Turian have an interstellar empire who has a CIA (blackwatch) and an even more secretive agency with the sole mandate of weapon acquisitions (OTR, who recuperated the main gun of the Sovereign from its scrap).
Now, I know no singular person is a full paragon of his/her species, but a pacifist turian? Hardly believable in universe, imo. I can agree to a Turian who likes to build more than fighting (like an engineer), but every Turian of age know how to properly use a gun at least, and they are not really shy of combat. I mean, their most prized virtue is honor, for spirits sake!
So, I half expect half hope for Vetra to be an overdisciplined by the book Turian (in the beginning), utterly devoted to the mission, with some difficulties in adapting to an assignment with zero guide line and where you’ve to improvise every day. Almost like Cassandra in DAI: same pig-headed behaviour, and utterly capable of kicking you in the teeth on the mat and outside of it. She will mellow out the more the adventure progresses…
