I know Bioware "supposedly" looks through the forums but I wish they would actually look through this thread

I think I was a little disappointed because the relationship starts really great (I think Vetra has some of the best subtle/natural relationship building and flirting in start) but then she got a little neglected in the end. After watching all the romances, she had some of the best scenes even with the FTB but... She doesn't comment on your death even though if you bring her on the mission she is obviously distraught by it.
I don't like the scene with her once you complete the final story mission compared to the others. Peebee's kiss, Jaals twirl etc.
Also Peebee gets the nice option of having flirts constantly and a short romance repeatable dialogue once you start the relationship. At the same time Vetra gets a lot of nice romance related talks planet side and the relationship is reflected really well in the actual story. And yea her physical responses to the flirts are the cutest. I think hers is the(?) best paced romance. Little but meaningful flirts every now and then, lock after HfA* and from there on you're all set. I agree though that once locked her dialogues should reflect that but she just keeps repeating her basic friendly lines. Which is fine, her "hey, babe" greeting would knock me out every time. * This is why she doesn't respond to the 'death', technically the romance is not yet started.
I didn't like PB's constant flirt line. That "I like it when you flirt" doesn't fit tonally compared to the rest of her conversations. The later ones are better.
After checking the Vetra all options videos I realized that there's a trick to it. In the bridge you need to pick the casual option, in the epilogue the heart. In both cases Ryder will reply with "you read my mind" which is quite fitting to their romance dynamic. Let's make it the official motto! Ya her romance/dialog after her romance was obviously neglected but her love scene was a joke why can't she have sexy time!, On kadera she tells me "fuck off! This is mine something like that and a few other things. Even when your in a relationship with her! Why?

Good question The last time I saw a BSN user delete their account, they left a goodbye message. Are there really no goodbye messages or anything from him?

So I think final thoughts on this version of the game after everything has worn off is a big pile of meh. Story is meh, the pathfinding aspect is meh, combat is great, characters range from great (I'm looking at you Vetra) to I want to space you. It seems like a bare bones attempt to sell a shit ton of dlc. Never again will I allow myself to be this excited about a game. The dlc better be on the level of the shadow broker for me to even think about buying it. *rant over*

What really pisses me off is they knew exactly what they were giving us. Say what you will about Nintendo but at least they delay their games until they are done. “A delayed game is eventually good, a bad game is bad forever.”

The dlc better be on the level of the shadow broker for me to even think about buying it. *rant over* I get you bro. I also had very similar throughts on ME:A once I played through it for the first time. But then it hit me after a while, that ME:A had to happen in this form and we should be glad it did. Why? Think about it - ME3 ending put the franchise into stasis. Now the only way to push things forward was to move the area of events outside of the Milky Way and to lay new foundation for lore/individual storylines of new hero/his crew. ME:A in fact DOES feel much like ME1. It lays the first fabric for further events. The planets we get to visit, places we get to see, people and factions we get to meet - those are just samples for future installments. ME:A feels like a BIG exploratory demo for the true Mass Effect set in Andromeda which we will be probably seeing no sooner than late 2020 (sic!). Imagine, if they set the events of the next game a few years after ME:A. All those planets we get to clean of their environmental hazards + enormous boost to productivity that comes from all the outposts and alliance with the Angara means we will have a lot more interesting places being set up / build by the Initiative. So this will allow a more of a ME2/ME3 approach where they can set actions within smaller areas, but with lot more of details/characters. Plus, out ME:A1 crew might get their actual shine, if they put a lot of resocures into storyline and character buidling like in ME2. Say what you want about ME2, but the only thing it DID succeed at, was to make us care about all of the characters (yes... even Jacob at times). ME:A is the "hard point" that puts the franchise OUT of statis after 5 years and while its premise seems far fetched (even silly at times), it is all just to jumpstart Mass Effect into new story which we will be following for years to come in multiple installments. I seriously doubt EA would scrap Mass Effect as a franchise, even if it turned out to be a bigger flop people claim it to be. There will be next Mass Effect and once its out - then we will truly appreciate that ME:A 1 happened.

This game did none of that. I loved the idea of moving to a new galaxy but if you are going to do that let the player experience first contact. There was literally nothing new for the player until near the end and it was underwhelming because it raised more questions than it answered. I just feel like this game was made to sell DLC to expand on things. ME1 didn't feel like that.

Plus the new Zelda had a 100 million dollar budget while MEA had 40 million so that does have quite the effect too, also there's no EA breathing down the dev's neck. And about Vetra, I wasn't planning on romancing her but after playing the game I really need make a FRyder for her. She's just so damn awesome and I have the biggest girl crush on her

In fact, I get the same feeling we will get the "whole story ME:A" in DLCs. Bioware got a huge backlash for the release state of ME:A, knowing them however - they will do a lot to redeem their reputation, by working on higher quality DLCs. If DLCs for ME:A give us interesting "whoa" moments, then I will gladly buy them (being the completionist I am, I just have to) Besides, I feel like I will be playing ME:A for a long time, thanks to the MP. Sure - it sucks with the current weapon balance (of rather lack of it), but I already see the gradual weekly improvements they are making for it. If they keep it at this pace, I see how MP in ME:A can become as awesome as the legendary ME3 MP, maybe even better. We just need to give them time. So... I'm gonna be rocking with that Turian Soldier/Turian Havoc on MP for quite a while

Also Vetra was literally the only reason I finished the game. I got near the end and almost quit because of the issues I had but I powered through it for her.

If DLCs for ME:A give us interesting "whoa" moments, then I will gladly buy them (being the completionist I am, I just have to) Besides, I feel like I will be playing ME:A for a long time, thanks to the MP. Sure - it sucks with the current weapon balance (of rather lack of it), but I already see they gradual weekly improvements they are making for it. If they keep it at this pace, I see how MP in ME:A can become as awesome as the legendary ME3 MP, maybe even better. We just need to give them time. So.. I'm gonna be rocking with that Turian Soldier/Turian Havoc on MP for quite a while I think I'm just venting about the state of gaming in general, there is less and less that I don't stop playing after a few hours lol, maybe its about that time. I'm going to wait until people finish the DLC to see if it is worth buying. I hope you enjoy mp though!
