Vetra Nyx, Maker Bless Sheryl Chee! (Official Thread)

Really liking the gender-switch this time round for the new characters(Garrus-Vetra, EDI -SAM, female krogan engineer etc.Well ,it was kind of predictable but still.
This leaves me with hope for a male Quarian (Who I would looooove to see unmasked,thank u very much!)

Anyways, I think I am going to like Vetra.Unless they make here totally unlikable/hard to please or approach no matter what. (Like Sten in DAO, who I personally liked by whatever my character did , he was always cold )


As far as romancing goes, even if she is bi I don't think I will romance her with my FemRyder,unless she is extremely charming.Don't get me wrong ,Turian ladies are beautifully designed but at first glance,she looks like someone my character will be best friends with. I like my romanceable turians ,male hehe

Hmmm...Looking at Vetra a bit more, her outfit makes me think of rogues, something between black and stylish like Kasumi and functional (and stylish) knifey shivdark like Inquisition Leliana.
Might be totally off though, considering we seem to already have tech/roguey friend in Peebee. I don't know.

This is indeed a good point.

Wierd, that all across ME1-ME3 we never get to see a Turian bodybuilder, at least within Turian military ranks.
I highly doubt Turians wouldn't have noticeably bigger muscle mass due to rigorous military training/hitting a gym.

Look at James Vega and compare him to standard human.
The comparsion of a pumped up Turian vs civilian worker Turian would have been very interesting.

Lets see, if Bioware pays attention to this detail this time around.
I would like to see members of each species with various body shapes based on their background/profession.

It's hard to get too visibly beefy when you have a chitinous "skin". Plus, as Stickaroo mentions, if we're sticking with the avian theme, heavy musculature wouldn't be very common.

We're already seeing some physical variation in the few NPCs we've been shown. (Drack's spiky whiskers, Vetra's build) They've clearly made an effort to individualize in this game. The results look good.

Personally I hope Vetra has no connection at all to Garrus or Nyreen or any of them. I'd like her to be a brand new character, with a fresh story and all that. Plus, I got the impression that the reason Garrus and that female turian clashed so much was because their personalities were similar and I'm really not interested in having Garrus 2.0: female version. I say this as a huge Garrus fan.

I am very excited to get to know her though. After all, why does a Turian join something like Andromeda? Of all the species they seemed the most loyal to planet and conservative, not so much trailblazers, so her reasons could be interesting, I think. (I've always wondered about the large numbers of Turian mercenaries, for example. I always wanted to talk to one and find out why that happens.) Also, I'm excited to hear a woman's perspective on Turian culture. I know what we've been told, but it'll be cool to get a firsthand account. We didn't know Nyreen long enough to get to ask.
